Yea that's not a plan Vincent, it's a goal, a dream even.
It annoys me when people say I don't have a plan, my plan is to have a threesome with Margot Robbie and Ana de Armas. People think I'm stupid or something.
I had to Google Ana de Armas but thanks for the heads up

This whole sorry saga of inertia, indecision, delusion and almost total lack of communication is symptomatic of the Dead Hand of Tan.
We have no leadership, direction or plan (in the boardroom or in the squad). It is a farce. The few examples of real achievement and positivity in the club are drowned out by the embarrassing failures elsewhere.
Nathan Jones and his agent have played this situation perfectly (for them).
Aaron Ramsey may have correctly diagnosed the problems with the club that needed to be solved if he was going to manage, but despite the Kortrijk DoF structure it seems Tan is not convinced or will not be bounced and thinks doing the same thing again will produce a different outcome. That is delusional. So too I expect is Ramsey's decision (if confirmed) to carry on playing to have one last hurrah with Wales. That would be true anywhere - but to jump to Mexico (after all the homeboy schtick he came out with) moreso!
Who knows which candidates are left standing. Abbandonato may be right it is between Buckingham and Barry Murphy. How many boxes do either of them tick? Working with Academy prospects, introducing a culture of competing every minute, developing leaders across the pitch and changing room, developing a style of play that will be effective in League One....
And who do they bring with them in a complete revamp of the coaching team, even if there are no changes above or in the boardroom?
I am underwhelmed and bored, but at least that list of two doesn't (yet) include Evatt or Critchley (small mercies).
I dont want Evatt but id have him over Buckingham. At least he was a professional footballer.

Choo, Dalman and Tan are a joke. We have to get them out.
It's one shambles after another. The fanbase need to galvanise, not around Scam, to get them to sell up and bugger off. There's utter incompetence at the top of this club

It wouldn't have been about money to Ramsey. Ramsey wanted Tan to get an experienced assistant, beef up the recruitment, coaching and medical teams etc and Tan told him where to go.

They knew what AR wanted from day one. If they weren't going to give him that why are we f*cking around nearly 2 months later.
There won't be any, they'll just shut up and let the resentment fester. I feel sorry for the poor ****er who takes over now

Clearly the media, bookies and fans haven't a clue what is going on in the background so anything and everything is purely speculative at this late moment.

If Ramsey wanted money, he wouldn't have been here in the first place.

What's he going to Mexico for, the Tequila ? If it's true he'd be a lunatic to take his family, and to leave them would seem decidedly odd as at odds with what he's said.

The only playing option on the table? Perhaps he's been told that his body won't deal with another European winter and will hold up better in a warmer climate. I dunno; we're dealing with a mad belief that he has another full season in him and it's difficult to make sense with mad beliefs.

I don't know why so many are firmly against Evatt. he has a better overall record than Buckingham (,or Ramsey) in my opinion

I'm sure you'll be googling her quite regularly from now on.

It seems pretty obvious that he's trying to prolong his playing career until next summer in case Wales qualify for the World Cup.

Even though he gets injured if he plays more than 1 game……at least he gets to play in Mexico but I can’t see it being for wales

Yes, and he ripped up a 100k a week deal with Nice to come here

To play football, as no European club is going to offer him a contract.
Ramsey ripped up 100k a week deal at Nice to come here for significantly less, allegedly around a 1/4 of that. He's been on 400k a week, he doesn't need the cash. He's going to play as we've messed him around so much.
When these things keep happening, how about we look at who keeps making them happen? Vincent Bloody Tan

Re: New manager speculation / rumours thread
So he has been paid £3.6 million by the club over 2 years and moved back to his home area, but contributed unfortunately very little.

Yes. He was well paid but if it was all about the money, he'd have stayed in France where he'd have earned 5m in 1 season.
You can say what you want about Ramsey and his time here, the club offered him the job and they didn't seal the deal. We sacked Riza 2 months ago, this is a farce of one man's making and it isn't Aaron Ramsey
-
Re: New manager speculation / rumours thread
I am not blaming Ramsey for anything! He came here but it didn't work out.
He has now decided to move on.
Ramsey has done nothing wrong but he has decided to leave now his contract is at an end.

Re: New manager speculation / rumours thread
I'm not angry at Ramsey one bit. He was just going to be this ownership's fall guy to take the abuse when the results don't start coming in. If Tan, Choo and to a lesser extent, Dalman, think they can run this club without footballing minds, just do us a favour and at least be upfront about it. Any footballing role is a poisoned chalice with these clowns in charge.
At the very least, I might keep Dalman for a bit so that a new owner doesn't have to pay off his debt also. But Tan and Choo need to f off from footballing ventures forever.
If it wasn't for Sheffield Wednesday looking like the next Reading, we'd be the worst run club in the 92.
-
Re: New manager speculation / rumours thread
I fully understand why Dalman et al don't communicate with fans.
They haven't a clue what's going on themselves, so what on earth are they able to tell us?
Right now Tan is getting himself ready for the first team talk he's going to give.

Wasn’t he on 400k a week at juventus? Two years of that after 10 at arsenal I don’t think money is of any concern ever

Re: New manager speculation / rumours thread
An experienced old head on a 1 year deal. ? Just to stop the rot and a year for maybe Tan to move on. Or Nathan Jones to be sacked.
We can't go into pre season with Purse and Ramasut.
Another season of struggle looks on its way.
