cardiff 1-0 brilliant header from free kick by cooke

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
Good by City so far with the highlight being a lovely finish by Twose after Conte and Beecher combined well down the left. Spiers very good on the opposite flank as well and Gbadehan is having what I’d say is his best game in City colours so far.
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
3-0 another brilliant goal by Josh Beecher
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
3-0, fine finish by Beecher from a fantastic (and I mean fantastic) pass by Giles.
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
Commentators saying that the first team and under 18s are in action tomorrow and proceed to tell us how well the latter have done with what looks like a third place finish. Well done to the Academy kids for that, but there was no mention of the senior team’s likely twenty fourth place finish though :hehe:
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
A tremendous shot from 30 yards late on denies City a clean sheet, but they’re well worth their 3-1 win.

Yes, four good goals, and actually, the players were passing to a man in blue.
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
No Lawlor, Kpakio, Mafico, Perrett, George, Nyakuhwa, Simic by my count?
No chance they're all headed to Norwich, but unlikely they're all injured too

Pretty sure George is and I’d be shocked if Kpakio is involved after so long out, but I wouldn’t be surprised if three or four of those were in the match day squad.

Knowing our Pravda trained media team, the U18s might be in a division of 3 teams.

Found this earlier. Wonder what age group he's with. I can't imagine that Nike give out "long-term deal"s to kids that often. Anyone heard of him before?

1-1 draw for the under-18s at Barnsley today, Hayden Allmark with the goal. I'm not sure exactly who's eligible for the u-17 final on Wednesday but I'd expect it to be a strong team, the younger lads have been picking up plenty of games with the u-18s recently and getting some good results.
I've noticed a Nyakhuwa on the bench for the u-18s recently. I wasn't aware of Tanatswa having a brother here but I assume he has.

Saw this before the Burnley game the other day, so yes https://x.com/tan_nyakuhwa10/status/1916055844585607349

Early goal from Nyakhuwa after good play by Perrett and Spiers.
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
A mad two or three minutes by City sees Burnley score twice . A good save by Armstrong after Beecher was robbed trying to play out from the back kept us ahead, but then our traditional weakness when dealing with passes inside full backs presented Burnley with an equaliser and, seconds later, Armstrong took too long in possession and we were behind. We’re currently going through a spell like the one we had at Norwich when every time the opposition attacked we looked like conceding - half time can’t come soon enough.
