Sad to see Lloyd go. Good player who scores at a good clip. Shame that his final season with us has been injury plagued aswell.

Who are the better recent performers in their sports do we think - Glamorgan CCC or Cardiff City?
Both have clearly disappointed their followers over the last few years.
See all the quarter final winners were from the southern group
I see that Michael Neser has been released from the Ashes squad, and has been named in the Glamorgan squad for the 4 day game this week.
I see the Aussies have released Michael Neser to play against Leicester tomorrow
Good news about Neser, but looking at the forecast, he’s going to be spending most of the time looking out from the dressing room at the covers being pushed on and off the wicket - the fourth day looks okay, but the first three don’t.
Feel a bit sorry for Ingram getting dropped, he's been great again this year. But a gutsy and correct decision to play swepson and Neser as the 2 overseas I think. Bowling does need more strengthening than the batting. What's the weather like in Cardiff at the moment?
Looks like there might be a start soon, but, unfortunately, Leicestershire have won the toss and stuck us in - David Lloyd is back to open.
We’ll have to stay on tenderpins for another seventeen hours or so - no play today.
Well, the umpires got as far as starting to walk out to the middle to start the game when the rain came down - still don’t know what colour the stumps are.
On for five balls, then off again- 0 for 0 and the stumps are blue.
Glamorgan 54-1 and, after losing almost two days to the weather, every one marches off in bright sunshine at 6.30 - cricket’s its own worst enemy at times.
Can we have more rain please.
58-4
93-7 now. Could lose it in 2 days.
Could Leicestershire declare their first innings on 0/0, bowl at us again, then have a decent target to chase tomorrow?
