I think this is what happens when the people and constraints around a President get removed and only the sycophants get his ear. I liked the bit where one of the sued says he looks forward to deposing the plaintiff. Obviously it won't get anywhere near that stage.
As the article states his attorney in this is Alena Habba.
The Daily Beast is hardly sympathetic to Trump but in pulling this together it:
This reporting is based on interviews with four current and former Trump lawyers, as well as three other sources familiar with the situation at the Trump Organization and in the Trump family orbit.

I look forward to seeing this follow the same path as former Trump congressional apologist and current CEO of Trump Twitter, Devon Nunes when he sued a cow for derogatory remarks on Twitter.

Re: The Donald Trump thread
Obviously lessons not been learned from the Kraken Lawsuits.
Speaking of which, as part of the January 6 Committee, Mark Meadows handed over text messages he'd received during the most exciting phase of the Big Lie; those wonderful weeks when we really thought that Trump was gonna do it.
Some of those messages were from none other than the wife of a Supreme Court judge, the very same Supreme Court that Don was counting on ruling in his favour, once the shit had been blown off the fan blades. It seems that she implored them to hurry Sidney up and release that Kraken, amongst other encouraging wishes.
Have we finally got a bit of clarity on what the Deep State is? Supreme Court working with President to overturn a legitimate election?

No idea. I never open Fox News links so haven't got a clue what they are claiming.
However, from this NYT report it seems that the Manhatten DA investigation is continuing despite the decision last month not to go ahead (at that time at least) with charges for falsifying business records that prompted the resignation of Pomerantz and Dunne.
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/23/n...pomerantz.html
The Letitia James (New York Attorney General) investigation focussed on fraudulent inflation of land and property valuations is still going on. Maybe difficult to prove whose fingerprints are on the paper, but still very much live.
There is also the other ongoing lawsuit claiming the Trump crime family conned people into investing in fraudulent schemes. The Mail Online (not the Guardian, so safe!) is on the case:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...raud-suit.html
My take is that the noose has been loosened a bit, but is still in place.

Re: The Donald Trump thread
Let Wing NYT latest poll average s has Biden’s favorable rating is 43% and his unfavorable rating is 54%
Kamala Harris has 39% favorable opinion of Harris and 52% unfavorable one — a net rating of -13 % an is very low compared to a lot of other veeps .

There are people setting the narrative that this bullshit is being rationed and then the cost of seeing it is prohibitive. Who could possibly profit from taking hard earned wages from the gullible, Mozz?

It was released it 270 cinemas and you can literally buy the DVD off the official website Mozzer. This isn't quite you gleefully posting a gotcha link to a satirical news website but you're inching closer

It's interesting when viewed on a timeline, as you can follow the sequence of events as they unfold.

In Donald's birthday week, we find out that he rinsed his supporters out of a quarter of a billion dollars for a fake Big Lie fund.
Hope no one in this thread put their money where their mouth was!

Re: The Donald Trump thread
Why would a republican member of Congress deny taking people on a tour of the capitol the day before the attempted coup, then say it was only a tour for families with kids, then say it was only a tour of 16 people?
And why was someone on the tour taking photos of tunnel entrances and police checkpoints?
Probably all a big coincidence!

But this is the man you spent years telling us was fighting the good fight against the elites, so are you now saying that you backed what happened on 6 January last year and that the VP Mike Pence should have been hung by those Trump followers? You’ve told us for years what you’re against, but never what, or who, you’re for - Trump apart of course.
