More rumours from American journos that Horvath is going to be on his way. English, Danish and Belgian clubs supposedly interested.
Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
Copenhagen playing at the moment, Trott not in the squad
Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
Some links with Liverpool's Luca Stephenson. 21 year old midfielder. Lots of other clubs supposedly interested too, including the jacks.
Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
apparently there has been interest in signing Darko Gyabi according to Cardiff city world tonight . Would be surprised if we did
Noticed he's been involved with the Man City academy a few years ago so maybe BBM knows his agent too !

He does look good on the ubiquitous YouTube videos. However, his stats aren't so convincing...
47 appearances on loan at Plymouth, with just 1 goal and 2 assists.
Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
We are not signing anyone. I'm surprised that there are 22 pages of rumour and speculation. Imo tan has been told that what we have will get is back up. Then he have to spend.

It's been a fairly persistent rumour all summer. I even read or heard somewhere that it would be a permanent deal, but, seeing as we're talking about someone who was valued at £5 million in the Kalvin Phillips from Leeds to Man City deal, I think that's very unlikely.

valuations of players who are makeweights in transfer deals are extremely unreliable, there's all sorts of skulduggery going on to circumvent FFP rules etc.

Who do you think would tell Tan that? Certainly not the new manager.

He seems to have only 1 year left on his contract. That should affect his valuation

Yeah and I suppose Leeds would prefer to get a fee for him, rather than loan him out again, because it’s hard to see him being offered a new contract. How much would they want for him though because I can’t see us spending much in transfer fees unless we sell someone like Salech?

Gyabi is only 21 and played for the England u21s last season. I would imagine Leeds would ask for a 7 figure fee as they rate him highly. The YEP have reported Leeds want around £3m for him.

similar age to Robertson, who has more senior appearances, more goals and more assists.
that said I know nothing of this Gyabi guy - is he any good?
is there any substance behind this rumour, or is it typical transfer window stuff - i.e. he's not going to be playing for Leeds any time soon and we haven't signed anyone yet, and he may have played with BBM previously, so 2+2=5000

As he knows feck all about football i'd guess! his sidekicks. The fact! and yes it's a fact, we havent got any new in and the ones we released gave us no extra income.

Didn't Birmingham spend 15 million on Stansfield last season? I know they had just gotten taken over, but 3 million, whilst high for League One, is hardly on the same level as Birmingham. And I want to say we spent about 4-5 on Salech in a transfer window with incomings and less outgoings.

who says we should be spending as much as Birmingham did?
they spent more than the rest of the league combined
Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
I think at least combined Robinson and Salech should match what Stansfield did. Keeping hold of those two based on the goals scored in the champ last season is massive. If we went out and bought those two from a different champ club the media and everyone would pin us as big spending title favourites.
Fortunately we don't have to necessarily spend much upfront. It's in defence we need to be looking at beefing up. I still get the feeling overall the squad will be too nice when it comes to the proper scrappy matches.
Think we will have some big wins, but it's whether we can scrap the odd 1 nil when we don't deserve it.

He is, so, if there is anything to it, I would have thought one of our current midfielders would be sold.

Ryotaro Tsunoda has completed a permanent transfer to Japanese side Yokohama F. Marinos for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.
The defender joined the Bluebirds in January 2024 and experienced two loan spells in Belgium with K.V. Kortrijk.
We'd like to wish Tsuno the very best of luck for the future.
Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
That's two foreign imports signed in 2024 who have left the club in 2025 without making a single first team appearance in any competition.
:hehe:
