They were thrashed in their away games with Surrey and Hampshire in embarrassing style (if last night was Glamorgan’s best ever T20 win, then their loss at Bristol has to be a serious candidate for their worst).
Worse still though in many ways were the defeats in Cardiff to Surrey and Gloucestershire with what had been a good all round display against the former ruined by a standard of catching that a school team would be disappointed with, while the latter has to be the biggest giveaway in our T20 history as the catching again fell apart and this time there was also awful death bowling to help what had been an outplayed visiting side to victory.
I suppose what you have to do from such a fluctuating season is concentrate on the times when Glamorgan were, very, good and try to change attitudes where the team failed to cope with the pressure of a tight finish - an improvement there, together with losing the tendency towards a batting collapse would certainly make qualification possible in 2025.
