I could name a top ten from the films listed in the thread that weren't in my original post.
Re: Chose your favourite top ten films
Personally I find it impossible to pick my top 10 but most of my favourites have already been mentioned, such as:
Sixth Sense
Ben Hur
Duck Soup (Marx Brothers)
It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World
Life of Brian
Mississippi Burning
Blazing Saddles
An obscure film (romantic time-travelling genre) called Somewhere in Time starring Christopher Reeve, Jane Seymour and Christopher Plummer tops my list. I may get hammered on here but I love The Sound if Music, co-incidentally another film starring Mr Plummer.
I'm sure as more people submit their lists I'll be thinking "oh I forgot about that one, yeah that was a great film too"

If you and yours enjoyed “Somewhere in Time”, try THE LAKE HOUSE, takes at least 2 viewings to work out the timescale

Cheers. I've just seen the preview of it. There are certainly similarities to Somewhere in Time so I'll look out for it. I'm a bit obsessed by SIT so it'll be a hard act to follow !

Re: Chose your favourite top ten films
Just realised I've put over 20 movies in my top ten and completely for got
the Revenge of the Pink Panther.
I could barely watch Peter Sellars in the panther movies because of the tears in my eyes from laughing so much. i remember watch this particular one first time in a cinema and a slid off my seat onto the floor laughing.
Years later the girls who worked for me on the Olympics bought me a box set for christmas. I put this one in my desk top and within 3 minutes everyone on my floor thought i was ill, I was laughing so much I was crying.
and I was only watching the bit where he is collecting Dreyfus from the mental hospital, the film hadn't even started.
And now I've remembered Doctor Strange love and Highlander (Yes I know he wasn't in this lol)
