Just follow on here I guess.
From memory there were two Sky sports channels showing EPL - red button only worked for one of them, can’t remember which one though, and don’t want to log back out of the game.
Playing well.

Thanks. I've tried them all! Maybe it is a Virgin Media thing.
Can catch up here - and good to hear we are playing well

Not working for me - also on Virgin.

Re: COVENTRY CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Half hour gone now and playing some decent stuff.
Two really good chances for Harris, both hit with no power nor direction tamely into the keeper's hands.

He’s got to be in with a shout really, tonight, with the lack of strikers, it may have been worth a shot.

Agree, to have just Davies on the bench who is probably more of a wide player anyway is a bit off. Don’t think Hudson has much interest in youth tbh.

Re: COVENTRY CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Coventry getting slightly on top of the game over the last few minutes
-
Re: COVENTRY CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Harris putting a fair old shift in, O’Dowda & Colwill linking up quite nicely as well.

Is Colwill wearing lead boots?

I think he’s doing ok.

Colwill is playing pretty well.
Decent effort from 35 yards out but he's no Peter Whittingham.

Me too - a lot more involved and influential than Philogene on the opposite side.

I'm not saying he isn't doing ok but he has absolutely no pace....
-
Re: COVENTRY CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
HT 0-0.
Philogene probably the best chance for us but completely fluffed his lines after good work from Harris.
Coventry did have a couple of moments though and hit the outside of a post.
I'd take a draw right now though as the game has an all too familiar look about it.

Re: COVENTRY CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Decent enough first half. We dont look like scoring but playing decent football.
Defence ok, no real chance yet for Coventry.
-
Re: COVENTRY CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Well, he's not a winger is he? But that's what you get when you hire a manager with no experience and knowledge of one way to play.
We are still playing some decent stuff, but been very wide open at the back a few times and I have no idea how on earth we are going to score when we pass the ball across the top of the box. Still the same old issue that has been there since the first game of the season with no runners in the box and no movement... it's no surprise we're one of the lowest scorers in the football league. O'Dowda busting a gut to make great runs and everyone standing around with their thumb up their arse.

Finally come up now. Prob go again for the second half :furious:

Re: COVENTRY CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Colwill playing well but we lack any attacking focal point. Mark Harris as ever working hard, and showing some reasonable touches, but no threat whatsoever.

Re: COVENTRY CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
This team just needs any competent championship level striker. Somebody who has actually seen the inside of a penalty box at this level before and can provide some kind of strength and movement inside the area. It's like banging your head against a wall saying it so often, but it really is that simple. Easily a mid table team with just that one addition, what on earth was Morison thinking in that window.

I'm pretty sure he spent the whole window trying to land some strikers but there were a lot of other clubs in the same market.
as it is Robinson is a bargain at 1.5m

Certainly is but he isn’t a striker as such.
