the young are living how they like now, grassroot football is back fully now, Netball is back to full training, matches for both in Sept, pubs and bars are almost normal
Lets get back to living, if people want to stay in and keep safe, they can, we all know the risks now

we don't wear masks to stop that shit. i went to see stereophonics in march. no spike. hundreds of thousands on the beaches and at rallies. no spikes. ve day, vj day, millions on tubes and out living life. no spikes.
incidents seem localised to very intimate gatherings.
seems there needs to be very close contact to spread. be sensible, don't breathe over someone or hug the shit out of them but just be normal.
we are being controlled to become scared of our own shadows.

I get what you’re saying especially about the mask restrictions as it’s debatable whether it has any effect in helping to stop the transmitting Covid19. I’m pretty sure wearing a mask to prevent cancer has been disproven though?
I agree though common sense should be advocated. Unfortunately, not all would or are able to practice the rather simple measures probably needed.
You watched the Stereophonics? I’d prefer listening to tinnitus.

No, I respectfully disagree.
The fact that we entered lockdown has, undoubtedly, saved many lives.
Masks will not stop heart-attacks. Masks will not stop cancer. Flu is not as contagious and there are vaccines available - plus flu is most contagious when symptoms show. This virus can see asymptomatic people infect vulnerable people.
The majority of people have altered their behaviour. Elderly people and the vulnerable are, essentially, keeping away from any social contact.
What you are suggesting would, in my opinion, create a two-tier society. Opening up society in the way that it was opened up previously would lead to more cases. It would lead to us having to decide between locking down or burdening the NHS. The virus is currently under control because of behavioural changes. France is seeing a spike in cases, 4,700 today, the most recorded since April 14th. Spain had a few days of 5,000 plus cases, and 127 died there yesterday, the most since May 10th. Madrid (with their mass transit systems similar to London) had 2,000 cases alone. And this is happening with restrictions still in place.
You are right about being sensible, but we're talking about a population that voted for Johnson 9 months ago.
