Does anyone remember the Stowaway, on Stow Hill in Newport? At one point in the late seventies/early eighties, it seemed like there was a 'name' band playing there every Wednesday. Clash, Jam, Buzzcocks, Generation X, Souixsie, Adam and the Ants, Only Ones, Rezillos, Undertones, Costello, Nick Lowe, the list goes on....
