That goal was down to him.

Then the Stoke player waltzed past him as if he wasn’t there, to get the cross in.
He’s a terrible defender.
I don’t know how good Cunningham is at this level, but I’d like to see him get a run of games.
How many times have you seen goal? Bennett is beaten by the pace of the ball. It goes one way then another. I don't know what you expect him to do about that.

Yes, he's following the play a lot and therefore narrowing and making more congested the middle of the park; schoolboy stuff - although it has to be said he's not a real winger.
We're losing the midfield and I'd expect changes with many of those in blue looking tired.

Moore looks finished. Give him 10 minutes, if nothing changes then make the change.

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The commentators are aghast at the standard. Just goes to show what we’ve become used to.

Harris has been anonymous. The once or twice he’s managed to get to the ball he’s done nothing with it.
We are trying to out hoofball the one team who ate probably bigger than us in this division and it’s not working.
Changes needed to tactics and personnel 2nd half.

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Really poor first half - neither team has played well , though they have got on the ball once or twice on the edge of our area. We haven’t put 2 passes together all evening

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Guess we'll have to be grateful for 3 wins. This is pretty awful. I think we need Pack to give some control in midfield and Murphy or Whyte to add some pace up top. Harris is ok, showing what a bit of pace can do. Moore is being owned by their centre backs.

It would be nice if one of our midfielders could get the ball to him.

Bennett, Nelson and Vaulks have all had good performances over past three games but all made mistakes in lead up to the goal. We look a very, very tired side.

I have to agree. We are playing hoofball and they are huge in centre of defence.

Nelsons header was poor headed it straight back to them instead of our of the danger zone.

Need to change this.
Id take Harris and Vaulks off for Murphy and Pack.
Need to use our subs with Saturday in mind anyway.

Is anyone else bored to tears?
Yawn.

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
This 11 should never have started. They're knackered. Now they're going to be knackered or worse injured on Saturday too.

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Excellent covering by Bennett

You could barely keep your eyes open for a 3-0 win last week so no surprise you are nodding off
