But this has literally always happened with away our badges, it’s just a “style” decision.
I just had a look and 75% of premier league away kits have a different colour badge to match the colour scheme of the away kit.
There’s not some clandestine way of changing a badge colour it’s just a styling decision that’s always existed. It’s clutching at straws looking for some mad scheme to be angry at when in reality it’s an insignificant colour scheme decision.
Missed a trick by not having only the bluebird in colour in my opinion. Could have made it pop.

I hadn't really thought about it before you raised the point but as mentioned, whether we like it or not, it appears fairly commonplace for designers to fiddle with these things for aesthetic reasons.
