Hopefully, this will be addressed at half time.

Is your stream still working?

bugger me...seems like I missed the goal/.....

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BURNLEY. Match thread
Need to get Nkounkou off, Kompany said in the week that he's been studying our players. They're targeting him.

Take that all day and build on it.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BURNLEY. Match thread
Good goal, decent second half. Not much has changed really.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BURNLEY. Match thread
Still struggling in front of goals but still better performance.
Need to change left back though and not sold on Ojo

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BURNLEY. Match thread
To those who watched a stream: any differences between that performance/tactics and how City were playing under Morison?

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BURNLEY. Match thread
Well done City...didn't think we'd get much today so well happy.:ayatollah:

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BURNLEY. Match thread
We deserved the equaliser, great cross and a great bit of play from Robinson in getting in between the two defenders, shocking defending though. That was an honest display in the second half (didn't see the first half) the worrying thing for me though is that we look clueless in the attacking third, we work the ball well enough then run out of ideas with the final ball. A combination of a lack of quality and a lack of movement in and around the box. Now that's a hard one to put right in my opinion. Can't make players make intelligent runs, take those little risks that are needed around the box etc. It's so passive at times. Burnley invited us on as well.

None whatsoever. We just played well and got a 90th minute goal. Burnley were very disappointing in the second half. This 5 subs thing is ridiculous. It takes all momentum out of the game.

Re: T: CARDIFF CITY 1 - 1 BURNLEY. Match thread
I thought we looked exactly the same as a Morrison team but even more toothless.

Good coaching won't make a player quicker or smarter - but shouldn't coaches be able to work with the squad on situations where individually and collectively we have been poor so far this season - and through training ground work and shape get more of a cutting edge out of the current squad?
Some of the Burnley squad this week talked about the way Bellamy has improved their final third play and decision making.
I don't know whether our coaching team are capable of doing the same? Or how much improvement is possible? Is it mainly skills, or set up, or attitude (the risk taking)?

I thought that was quite poor to be honest.

It's going to be.
Hudson has been left to pick up the pieces of an overly-ambitious, egotistical tit who has left him with half a decent squad.
We're playing NG at centre-back, I'm guessing because Simpson isn't considered good enough (Morison signing), Nkounkou at left-back (Morison signing), Ojo wide right (Morison signing), and of course, we're left short up front.
Hudson will have his work cut out.
Morrison signed 17 players, a bunch of them clearly aren't going to be good enough.
We didn't need so many. We needed more quality, not a ton of quantity.
We have a huge squad, only half of which are probably good enough at this level and a few of those are injured.
People have defended Morison but his short-comings in that respect are quickly becoming exposed.
It will take more investment to put this right and that might not come.

We were poor. Vital point though .
Our set piece threat is abysmal.

Apologies.
It was quite poor anyway though.
Although better result than we might have had if Morison was still here.
