However, if moral purity is a key factor, isn't it hard to vote for anyone? Probably the party selling all the weapons to Israel which are being used to kill civilians is not top of the list either. A few mental gymnastics required for some there too.

Yes most definitely. It's not my fault pootin invaded Ukraine I wish he hadn't.

I don't think anyone imagined that Putin was restricted by any internal legislation or regulations as to what he does. He could rename the days of the week tomorrow if he wanted to. It was purely symbolic.
