Our defence has a handful stopping Callum Chambers scoring own goals or giving away penalties.

Out of the bottom 3. Great stuff.

Have Wales Online completely given up? I know they don't attend many away matches any more, but I thought they blogged from one of the audio commentary providers (club or BBC Wales). Seems not.
They have also stopped doing live coverage of the pre-match press conferences and just do a few 'after the event' mop up stories.
At the same time the club are providing less media (in fact communication in general) than in previous years.
Yes it’s noticeable they’ve given up on a lot of their coverage. Not covering the press conferences seem particularly poor

Promising start.
Bit of a colour clash with the 3rd kit.
-
Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Decent start , Meite and Willock have started well but seems to be plenty of space out wide behind our back 3

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Alnwick should have done better there surely?
-
Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
They had way too much time and space to take the shot and then Alnwick made a mess of it. We do seem to be moving the ball a bit quicker, that's the only positive so far.

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Really poor goal, Sio far too deep and turns his back, any decent defensive midfielder closes that down. Ralls also to slow to get to him. Alnick maybe should have done better.
No idea why Daland is playing on the right and chambers on leff, makes no sense.

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Looked miles offside, but replays show it was the right decision and it’s 1-1!
-
Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
3 or 4 times now Willock has missed a clear pass. O"Dowda outstanding so far.

I didn't think you could be offside from the opposition playing the ball , obviously wrong?
-
Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
It is strange that Daland is playing on the right hand side. I've never seen Ralls and Siopis work as a partnership. O'dowda seems to be much more threatening as a wingback.
-
Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Looked onside from the initial shot from Ralls, and then you had the 2 deflections. Perfect from El Ghazi - wide man coming in around the far post from the attack on the opposite side.

I have noticed that a lot recently.

Decent 1st half display. We look much more comfortable when we have space..

He seems to be more effective running from deep in to the space, rather than maybe from a standing start further up the pitch.

O Dowda likes the game in front of him, he's better when he has a "Bigger picture" he's not a player who does his best work recieving the ball with his back to goal. Incidentally, it's much easier to play when the whole game is In front of you.
