Do they do Most improved? I think it's so insulting, particularly to someone like Bagan, who is 23 years old and an established professional. It's for 10 year olds. Imagine it in any other high level profession!

A few weeks ago I couldn't understand the plaudits that Bagan was getting but on closer watch he's improving every match and becoming a decent player

I can understand where you're coming from on this. It's the kind of award you'd give to an Under-16 player, not as you pointed out, someone who's been playing senior football for a few seasons.
It's almost like asking the recipient.. "Then what what was your form like for the previous seasons"?
Nevertheless, since the departure of Joe Bennett, we've not had anyone who's nailed down that left-back position, and that includes Joel Bagan.
Bagan is looking far more assured this season, from that we can say with some certainty he HAS improved.

The players hate that category and take the piss out of whoever wins it :hehe:
“You used to be shite, but now you’re a bit better” :hehe::hehe:
Re: Player of the Year so Far
I won most improved player as a kid playing as a defender, the next season they stuck me in goal. So yeah, exactly what you are saying :hehe:
