whatever Shaw did or didn't say, i doubt very much that it would have been enough for Riza to change playing tyle and formation today, considering he's only been with the club less than a week. If you think that there's some possibility that shaw was instrumental in todays victory then that's up to you. It’s pretty clear that Riza knows and trusts Shaw and in a case like that, I think it’s perfectly possible that the new coach had a say in the tactical change involving Chambers as sometimes a fresh set of eyes looking at a problem can point out things others were missing because they were too close to see the bigger picture.

Shaw 100% won that match. He was on the blower to Tan early morning and they discussed a tactical plan to win the match. Round lunch time Shaw bought the whole team a pint and a bag of crisp (O dowda refused due to geo political/religious reason) to win the team over like.
