Re: Cardiff city protest march video promo. For 18th January
It laughable that Tan may not spend if we protest, he doesn't give a rats arse what any of you think. His investment is in danger of halving. Of course, he can afford to write that off but he seems unwilling to accept any offer other than his valuation so it may hurt him financially and emotionally.
99.9% paid to play or watch, we are amateurs. Do you believe anyone making a living out of the game listens to the mob?
This may be the first time the bloke living 7000 miles away hears dissent in over 10 years. I think season tickets will tank whatever division we are in next season and that will hurt him both financially and the club as an asset.

Yeah you do need to be registered to ask questions.
Is the aim just Tan Out. If so who supports us financially or are they happy for admin. I'm sure none of them want the club would up or would a phoenix club still be more appealing than Tan running the club.
Do they think there are genuine interested parties and if so who? Please don't say Sam and confirm none of the organisers seriously think he has the financial power to buy and run the club..
Why aren't fans organisations involved.?

Yes you do need to be registered on that forum or this one to post. It takes about 30 seconds to do that if you’re interested for answers.
I notice that this forum is full of moaners about Tan and the situation that’s been going on for years down the City - and rightly so - but it’s very apathetic here.
But my point just by reading a few threads there you’ll probably get the answers you’re looking for.

Another "long time lurker" who seems to be hitting their stride!

Why?
Because I’m trying to answer this poster’s questions?
Do I need to have 10,000 posts to post here?

Re: Cardiff city protest march video promo. For 18th January
I won't have a pop at people who are trying to do something. Some on the other board may still harbour a belief that Sam will save the day but I'm sure most just want a better and more enjoyable experience following the club we all love.
It may not be the perfect protest but you have to start somewhere so well done to those involved in getting something started.
We can't get hung up on what happens when tan leaves as he is doing a good job of damaging it whilst here and he will 100% leave one day anyway.

Re: Cardiff city protest march video promo. For 18th January
Forums aren’t really my thing. I’ve rarely if ever even looked at this board since joining.
Cardiff City is my thing and I’ve a big interest in the current situation of the the Tan out and the protests to post on here.
Hope that answers your question.

Re: Cardiff city protest march video promo. For 18th January
As i see it, as a customer you have three options
1- Everything is cool, so carry on as normal
2- Complain and hope the supplier listens
3- Stop using the company with the poor service
For years we have been thankful because if Tan wasn't here we'd end up with a National League manager and a squad of journeymen only here for their last cheque.
With hindsight option 2 is too late, it will take seasons to get us back on a proper trajectory. So I think option 3 will be popular and hit him like a ton of bricks 25/26.

Most people are only interested in the first team and what they are doing, so the fact that it could be argued that we're doing well at age group level and in women's football means little to them. With us being rotten to the core when it comes to first team level on and off the pitch, there is plenty for all bui the most servile of forelock tuggers to be annoyed about when it comers to how the club is being run.
Hope the fans caveat those protests, like the new training complex coming.
Would hate for them just to not be clear.

I know it's risky saying anything pro tan here at times but you make a good point about the academy facilities and the training ground etc....
Off the pitch an awful has gone right. Women's side in Europe also.
I think that just makes it even more frustrating the sheer incompetentence and pure negligence at first team level. Especially when it's so obvious to see.

Option 3 for me. If you want to treat us like a customer then I’ll behave like a customer. No other industry could provide such a poor product and have such disdain for its customers and get away with it.

He didn’t spend when we got promoted in 2018 even:xmashehe: just look at who we bought! Look at other clubs that have been promoted like forest, Fulham, Brighton, wolves, Bournemouth, Brentford it can’t be that difficult can it? Tan doesn’t get decent managers full stop which is why we are where we are….and he’s lost millions

I've never been one of you know who's minions and never will but at least something is trying to be done instead of general apathy or bowing and scraping to the emperor.
I'm not on any of his social media or websites but I'm gona join the demonstration even it gets no end results.
I'd be grateful for an update on time and starting point posted to this website.

There was a meeting yesterday. Of course AA conveniently left out a few facts in order to further his personal vendetta against Keith Morgan. The meeting was not with the Trust or the FAB. It was organised at short notice through Vince Alm and was attended by Vince and other CCSC committee members, Kieran Jones plus one other from the Disabled Supporters Association as well as Keith. Never let the facts get in the way of a personal agenda

At least the Back to Blue protest had a serious purpose.
Many said the back to blue protests were pointless also for the same reasons. Many said wearing blue and singing blue songs at games was laughable as if tan would care. I'd guess any protest ever many would have said they would be pointless as those they are protesting against are too powerful and don't need to listen to the little people.
Not a point about this protest specifically but if thousands were to protest in a big game v swansea then at the very least it would get some attention and chatter and maybe get people asking more questions.
Even if only 10 people protest it will have more of an impact than thousands of posts on a forum.

But Keith wasn't there as a random individual though was he? Or was he there as chair of the trust?
You can see why people may get the 2 confused?

The back to blue protests had all but fizzled out by the time we actually swapped back to our proper colours.
We were halfway through a disappointing Championship season with a half full stadium and general apathy (hang on, sounds familiar) when Tan announced the reversal. A season full of 19:27 protests, marches outside the stadium, banners and and chants at games, pro blue billboards, etc with 30k in the stadium didn’t sway him.
The rebrand reversal was a business decision back when Tan cared about how the club was faring (from a business perspective at least).
