Jordan James made a difference when he came on and when Amps is back we will dominate. The Welsh attack and defence both lacked coherence this evening.

Good result. We’ve slipped up in similar fixtures before.

Cardiff City over Wales for me all day long.
I wish you'd told us this before so we could have adjusted our behaviour accordingly

Re: FT: WALES 3 - 1 KAZAKHSTAN. Match thread
Thought we were pretty average tonight. There was so much passing around the back because Josh Sheehan was doing little to make himself available to receive a pass in any space. Without him being in space he can't go forward, so all he did was pass it back to Rodon or Davies. Connor Roberts gave the ball away far too often.
Dan James and Brooks were pretty good and Matondo and Jordan James were lively, but we'll have to create more in future games.

Re: FT: WALES 3 - 1 KAZAKHSTAN. Match thread
We are so weak in central midfield, I was surprised Jordan James wasn't starting. Credit to Bellamy for getting so much out of these players.

This is the sort of update we need in an international match thread.
Good crowd there tonight. Game never really sprang into life but job done.

How long has “offloading” been a term?
The bloke was awful too.
I put on S Pedwar C for the 2nd half.

Which of the commentators on s4c did you think was best?

Why didn’t he start??
Sheehan must have been told not to pass the ball forward - it was very frustrating to watch.

I seldom get too annoyed by commentators and the lady one didn’t bother me too much last night, but that bloke always rubs me up the wrong way. He’s always getting excited by moves that, invariably, come to nothing and he would do much better if he let things develop more and then let his voice rise if it comes to anything. As it is, he gets all excited at things like crosses which are routinely cleared by the opposition defence and sounds panic stricken every time the ball is put into the Welsh penalty area = he’s a living advert for showing that commentating isn’t as easy as you might think it is.

I imagine that it is difficult.
I think that I am conditioned to be annoyed by the CCTV commentary now, mainly by petty things like calling players by first names or nicknames.
Less is more for me and a lot of commentators just yap for the sake of it.

Matondo was only on for about 2 mins

It’s football, but not as I know it.
Bellamy's unbeaten record still intact.

Onto Macedonia. I’m expecting a quite different starting 11 but who knows with our manager. I haven’t guessed a starting 11 yet!!
