We lost £10m in income but saved about the same in wages for the players whose contracts weren`t renewed.
This coming season is not so much about transfer fees but player wages payable as we are restricted to 60% of turnover under the EFL financial restrictions rather than the Championship ones based on profitability.

Players have left and no one has been brought in to replace them yet. The squad is weaker.

Keith, as a guide to where we find ourselves, would you be able to give us the wages to turnover proportion in the latest published accounts which, presume, are for 23/24?
