Everyone always thinks the grass is greener but they rarely act on it.
The boats need to stop because it isn't good for anyone, but there are a worrying amount of people (increasing every day) who seem happy to take actions that we would previously have considered brutal and against 'british values' to get it done. Simple answers to complex questions yet again.

With the UK being an island, we need to be asking the rest of landlocked Europe how all these immigrants and refugees are managing to cross so many borders without any documentation, and being allowed to continue without being processed in any of the countries they are crossing and why those with valid claims, aren’t given the correct documentation before they actually reach the dinghy’s and boats.
If the processing was done at the source, then that would clarify immigrants with genuine reasons for wanting to reach the UK and we as a country could then lay on transport for them to travel the last 26 miles in safety.
As to the answer to legal migration in the context of the wider economy, there is no problem.
I welcome any person who wants to move here to work, contribute to our tax system and share their knowledge and experience.
As for the rest of our problems concerning poverty, welfare, policing, health both physically and mentally, education, etc, I also have very simple answers for those, but for the time being, I want to concentrate on the City/Posh game.
