A bit like the weather, grey, dull and uninspiring.

Yes this is what I am thinking. We don’t really have an individual who is a real goal threat.
If Patterson is on the pitch for his nuisance value only, might as well bring Flint on up front.

We are in control and yet haven’t created anything. The game is there to be won.
Poor management if we don’t go on to do so.

Re: BRISTOL CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Win this and we eliminate them from the play offs. One less team to worry about. Same scenario on Tuesday.
It's in our own hands to make this a tad easier on ourselves.

It’s difficult not to after a half like that. A draw won’t be a bad result for City all things considered, but Bristol aren’t play off contenders on this showing. They’re hopeless.

Re: BRISTOL CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Really do need Tomlin...and Murphy on.....Paterson is doing nothing...not even softening them up....and Ward always good off the bench,

Totally agree. Need more ambition with team selection

Re: BRISTOL CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Are we still a second half side?

That's what worries me.

You've well and truly put the mockers on the side now.:sherlock:

He can header at least.
How slow and clumsy was Pato closing down the keeper then? Turns like a container ship as well.

Re: BRISTOL CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
this is not looking good 2nd half so far, we've stooped to their level

Cos they couldn't get anyone in for Bristol so they had to make it fair..

Re: BRISTOL CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I've cracked.
I'm sorry but I just can't ****ing watch Paterson play as a striker.
Bring on Ward.
-
Re: BRISTOL CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Re: BRISTOL CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Smith should be off for that. Second bookable.
Ref has a word and nothing more.
-
Re: BRISTOL CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The 11 out there aren't going to suddenly change how they are playing and score.
Please don't wait too long to make changes. They are there to be beat. Let's get some pace and a bit of a playmaker on. And a striker.

This is a game waiting to be won by us.
If we don’t then that is Harris’ fault I’m afraid.
Finger crossed.

Bothers me now and again how they just talk to them, after they've already booked them for being late it's the same again. We've definitely benefited from it in the past but but in that situation I think you've got to man up and give the second card.

Re: BRISTOL CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Bringing Tomlin on for NML.
Says something about Murphy doesn't it.
-
Re: BRISTOL CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Tomlin on....also need Ward at leat....and maybe Murphy.... the game is there for us...
-
Re: BRISTOL CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Dare I say it, but we're playing a pretty neat and tidy game today. We really need to capitalise on it though. And soon.

Players should have paused play for the Da Silva incident and would be more likely a red.
It was a yellow offence
-
Re: BRISTOL CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Time to pull off Paterson.
-
Re: BRISTOL CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Have to give Ward and Murphy more than ten minutes...
