Yes and even if we manage to get past Denmark, it's back to Baku for the quarter final. This stinks more than a Grimsby trawler:frown:

We're the Birmingham City of the 1956 FA Cup playing every game away from home.

Oh no they`re not At least I think that is how it stands :hehe:
Before you complain that it's unfair Denmark will be able to have fans present at the match - they won't either.
Sadly for the Danes, Denmark is also not on the Netherlands' safe countries' list, so the same restrictions apply to them as fans living in Wales, even though they are in the EU.
He told a press conference Danish fans could technically avoid quarantine in the Netherlands if they entered and exited within 12 hours, under a rule allowing travellers with a ticket or quarantine declaration showing their stay is shorter than that period of time to enter the country without needing to go into self-quarantine.
However, he later clarified to BBC Wales that the Danish government was advising fans not to travel, adding: "We do that partly because the Dutch government strongly advise to self-quarantine for 10 days upon arriving in the Netherlands if you stay longer than 12 hours."
The Dutch government has previously said the 12-hour rule would not apply to Wales' fans because the UK is outside the EU/Schengen area, unless they fall into an exemption category, but this does not include being a football supporter.

At least that would be consistent with how the UK treated fans from Croatia and the Czech Republic. I don't thinks the UK in or out of the EU is the issue here. Denmark gets a bit of a pass being in Schengen though considered riskier than other Schengen countries so more hurdles. The UK being outside Schengen would have been subject to different rules anyway but the Delta/Indian variant is the key here and the key reason why travellers from the UK are effectively shut out from Holland.

Re: Travelling to Amsterdam
How difficult would it be to get tickets?
I’m thinking of flying over for the weekend.

I got a mail from UEFA today inviting applications for various matches, on the basis that I have had previous tickets cancelled.
This match was one of them. I clicked on one of the ticket prices and went into some sort of queue, but quickly dropped out as I wouldn't go anyway with all the hassle.
So - on the face of it - tickets still available through the official site.

How would you get a ticket? I assume the FAW won't be selling any if Welsh fans are banned and the cheapest "neutral" ticket I could find on SeatPick was 200 quid!

I haven't looked too closely because I can't go but I got it from Coleman had a dream's Twitter page. It looks like the official page to me or can go through official page to try and find the same thing again.
Might help a few go.

Re: Travelling to Amsterdam
I’ve booked a flight to Amsterdam.
No luck with the UEFA site for tickets.
Hope I don’t end up paying what I did for Wales v Ireland for the World Cup Qualifier.
-
Re: Travelling to Amsterdam
Got a match ticket through my Brother.
He also got me tickets for Italy for last year.
I missed out on France in Euro 16, having spent a couple of months in Wales before and after my Mam died.
So happy to go to this even if a mullering is on the cards!!

I'm sure you'll probably be one of only a handful of Welsh fans inside the stadium. We should keep a lookout for you, as I'm sure the camera crew will be on a quest to find ANY Welsh fans they can.
As 'goats" says....fair play to you!

Just come off a teams meeting with the Danish fan Embassy and the Dutch police commander, it was gut wrenching to be honest and hard to hear about the 4 charter planes arriving from Denmark and the Danish SLO asking where they can park all the expected coaches that will arrive and the estimated 4000 Danes who have tickets and the many more who will get them through the black market etc.
However I do not blame the Danes, infact I am glad they were supported by the authorities that rule them to go. All tickets are sold out now but I explained that we had been trying since Sunday night to get our fans there in a safe responsible way with Negative PCR tests being compulsory, a bubble trip in and out, and quarantine on our return for 10 days, and nobody wanted to know.
Everyone seem sto be blaming each other so its nobody taking responsiblity.
The UK Government were not going to intervene because they told us from the start that travel to Amber countries was not illegal but the advise was to only travel for essential purposes, they have not changed their stance on that and that is why we did not run fan embassies.
The Dutch government put the UK on a red list or danger list, along with lots of other countries including Denmark, so were never going to intervene on our behalf but would they have stood against us if the Welsh or UK government had appealed to them to a least consider the bubble that was proposed? Who knows, maybe they did, but either way we are not an EU Country anymore and maybe politics is interfereing more than we realise and its politics rather than Health reasons that the Dutch are allowing over 5,000 Danes in but are checking the borders incase a few intrepid Welsh fans risk it?
Our fans were fantastic in France and were awarded an UEFA Prize in recognition of the way we behaved , interacted and added to the tournament, 5 years later we are left to watch from afar as just about every other nations' supporters enjoy the games in person.
We want someone to blame and the FAW or even us as a fans organisation get criticised for not doing enough, but this is way above our control and although covid is a huge and valid factor there is also politics being played out here in my opinion.
I wished the Danes well and am actually glad they get to make the trip, I would get no satisfaction if we were both banned to be honest, I pray we win and then win again in Baku so our red wall can finally get to a game.
Italy play in London next week and the home office inform me that no Italian fans lIving outside the UK will be allowed into London although 1000's from the UK will get tickets, if England win the next game cthey go to Rome and the Italians haver already said no British citizens are welcome in Rome do to the Covid increases here and the new variant. Be interesting to see how that pans out.
Lets all stay positive , get behind Page and the lads, hope the small number of Welsh fans in the groud are loud and proud and we progress in this surreal, tournament that is anything other than a level playing field.

Loving the fairness, do Welsh fans matter ?
Oh well never mind Boris is allowing 65k for semi and final , hopefully we may get an allocation for both games unless Mark and Eluned ban that as well .

It's the Dutch government that has banned fans from Wales, not Drakeford or Morgan.

10/10 for trying but they thought theyd found a loophole by flying to Moscow, then Amsterdam. Did they think Russia was an EU country?

We got sh!t on at the last Euros too.
Anybody remember the equal split of tickets with the English in Lens? Wales get a pitiful corner of the ground while England have about 3/4 of it.
Corrupt ****s.
