Agree. Reid looks class, but a couple of their defenders look out of their depth in this league.
Why the hell did the ref not send Pack off at 50 minutes?? He totally bottled it. It was an undisputable second booking for his foul on Bamba. If Neil wants to winge about that in the press conference then fair enough. It would have totally changed the game.

Let's not over play it. It's 2 players we were missing.
Anyway..that has left me rather annoyed.
Said in the week we should of kept the same team as Tomlin would of helped the cause, people were worried he would get sent off...then Bogle goes in boots up. Gutted for him as he's done well really.
Agreed with a few that a solid midfield may help...but I wish I stuck to my gut.
Weren't out of it even with 10 men, can't fault the effort I suppose.
Edit. Boot not boots. **** off autocorrect and **** off Bristol.

We would of been ****ed subs wise too wouldn't we? Id of prefered ward on the wing but I can't work out of the subs would of been ****ed if we did that so early on...heads gone tbh

You could also ask, how are Cardiff second if they can't beat a very average team?

Bristol City fans may well be wondering how Cardiff are second based on that performance. The point is, Bristol City are probably a little better than we saw today, and Cardiff are quite a bit better than what we saw today. Both teams may have nullified each other quite well, and perhaps both are genuine promotion contenders.

We had a make shift team out today.
Pisano and Wright both missing at the back.
Diedhiou injured.
So 50% of the back 4 missing.
As Johnson said on the radio we picked a big team today because we knew what to expect from Warnock’s Cardiff. Strong, physical and high balls.
So we countered that and went a little more direct than usual.
Warnock was right to say Bogle deserved to be sent off and has a case that Pack should have been.
That’s why Pack came off.
I thought we were the better side and could have made it 3-1.
I will take this though and just a point behind now 😁😁😁😁

Anyway I have a little more class than to rub it in so I shall be back in future weeks.
But a hard earned well deserved win for us.
Johnson is working wonders this season.
Until next time.

They looked the better side all afternoon , broke with real pace which we couldn’t deal with .
Their chairman stuck with Johnson last season when they went from European champs to division one fodder . It appears to have worked for them .
I cashed in my bet a couple of weeks ago on Cardiff for the league for a double your money profit , can’t see me regretting that decision any time soon.
Don’t get me wrong we werent that terrible but looked unable to deal with Bristol City’s pace .
When we went down to 10 men it was all over . Ward is pretty poor as a number 9 , was pushed off the ball time after time .
Finally , that is one derby that has lost its edge for me , atmosphere was very sedate .

Stop nicking our songs.
Mind you barely heard your fans all game except for 5 minutes after each goal and the last few minutes.

Plenty of excuses in there.
We were missing Zohore, Gunnarson and NML(7 minutes in), which are real impact players in their own right.
