Re: WYCOMBE WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Dear me this is absolutely dreadful isn’t it? We are going backward quickly. Bacuna hasn’t had a great night so far and we are being outfought all over the pitch. They are pressing us so well and we don’t have an answer. I’ve had to check that Vaulks is still on the pitch. Psycho Perry remains optimistic but he has greater hope than I do. Benkovic starting to show his quality with some nice long passes into feet but we’ll soon knock that out of him!

‘Waiting for something to happen’ - Aren’t those the exact words that Cooper used after the JB’s game recently, when having a sly dig at us afterwards?

Re: WYCOMBE WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Weve lost Moore Tomlin our right back and now Morrison.
Lucky we have 29.points in the bag.
We really need players urgently this window.
Throw Murphy on up front.

He cost £13m. £13m!!!! And we think we get ripped off at times.
Must admit I’ve been calling for Benkovic to start instead of Nelson purely based on his price tag. I’m glad he hasn’t now and can see why Bambas got on before him
I do think he has attributes to sit in defensive midfield mind, but if this cameos anything to go by, I wouldn’t mind him not playing again

Glatzel just caught offside......when did he come on?

Outrun, over run, poor or speculative final ball. Either we are letting them play or they are better than us.
Too many offsides, too many fouls.

Re: WYCOMBE WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Another beauty of a ref by the looks
If he blows up for nothing at set pieces, I don't see us getting much from this.
Or.... a different game after the break?

Yes, Jason Perry, king of the cliche

What has Glatzel been told do? He might as well not be out there.

Re: WYCOMBE WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Dear dear me. Cant see Harris surviving the week if score stays the same.
There has to be changes at half time.

Wycombe by far the better team. Way more comfortable on the ball than us, fully deserve their lead. We are clueless, ponderous and lack any quality. We need to show hell if a lot more second half.

We need to make the pitch bigger apparently.

So is the ref is the reason that we are losing?

At some stage the players have to get blamed for this. This isn't all on Harris. Could he do better? Yes. Could the players do better, absolutely.

And me, we're being outbattled, but Wycombe are also the better football team on the evidence of the first forty five minutes.
Benkovic has been getting stick for his role in the goal and I can see why, but the corner came about because Wycpmbe got in down our right after Bacuna went on another walkabout.

The buck stops with Harris.
He must have thought all of his Christmases had come early when we offered him the job.
If we come back and win this we would just be papering over the cracks, he has to go!

Re: WYCOMBE WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
What has happened to the urgency and desire shown when we thrashed Huddersfield and Luton? In the table of games as at half time, we'd be 20th. No motivation.
-
Re: WYCOMBE WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Completely outplayed in that first half. Need a big second half
-
Re: WYCOMBE WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
A fool and his money are soon parted....yet again. Did I actually think we had half a chance tonight? A trifle optimistic.

Im not sure they can. There are several on the pitch and bench just not good enough.
We need Hoillet and Murphy on straight away. I know Murphy is inconsistent but he can play. As we can make 5 subs i think id bring Pack on as well.

totally agree. its not happening in open play. the players are not buying in to whatever it is harris is trying to do. no enthusiasm / no motivation

Re: WYCOMBE WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Bacuna's gone feckin AWOL, what's he doing?
-
Re: WYCOMBE WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The ref is so weak. It’s mainly our limitations but they are allowed to kick us off the park.
-
Re: WYCOMBE WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Having watched what Wycombe did first half are people still of the feeling that City can play no more football than we currently are.
Sorry but that is complete shite. Wycombe can do it but City can't apparently.
