I don't think England can have any complaints. Italy outplayed them over 90 minutes, although the extra time was more even.
What was the point of keeping Sterling on for 120 minutes if he wasn't going to take a penalty?
Put the youngest kid on the 5th penalty. Glad they lost but Southgate has to take the blame for that, poor decisions in the end. Let Twitter revenge begin. :wales:

Yes, I too feel sorry for the young lads who were brave enough to take the penalties. However you could see Rashford's miss coming with that ridiculous sort of shimmy. England had everything going for them - a home game at Wembley with 60,000 fans against Italy's 6,000. Also this was the first really good team they have encountered in the whole tournament. Imagine the situation if the game had been in Rome!
