If the ref played advantage he must have seen a foul. You can't have it both ways, either there was no foul and play continued or the was a foul by the ref played the advantage.
Pretty sure it was Ashford not King as well

29/05/1969. Zambia 1-1
02/06/1969. Zambia 2-1
05/06/1969. Zambia 1-1
The reference material I used had that tour down as solely being to Mauritius - it has us down as playing them six times which struck me as odd and makes no mention of us facing Tanzania or the Young Africans.Wikipedia confirms that we did play in Zambia, but, again, makes no mention of is playing in Tanzania.
That reference material of mine I mentioned earlier calls the African trip a post season tour and, looking at the dates involved, that's definitely the case. The marathon trip to Australasia in 1968 was also also post season for 67/68, rather than pre season 68/69. It lasted from 28 May to 7 July, so the players must have come home and then had a hoilday before the season started on 10 August.
Hardly surprisingly, City started 68/69 in disastrous fashion as they were beaten 4-0 at home by Palace, then lost again at Ninian Park by 1-0 by Charlton four days later and then by 3-1 at Norwich to complete a miserable first week of the campaign which left them bottom of the table. From there, the improvement which led to 68/69 being our best league season in years kicked in and we eventually finished fifth, nine points behind Palace in the second of the two promotion places in those days of two points for a win.
Therefore, while it would be wrong to say that the long summer tout cost us promotion, it must have meant that we had a restricted pre season (we played no warm up games) and had to have played a part in leaving us with so much to do when it came to earning promotion. On the face of it, you would have thought that the City hierarchy concluded that such a long post season tour was detrimental to the team's league campaign, but, not a bit of it, because they were off again, albeit on a shorter tour, as soon as 69/70 ended!

That annoyed me as well, and as someone else said, it was Ashford, not King. Usual top quality WoL journalism.
Thought that was a good workout, Sundowns were a very handy team with some good players.
Thought Ashford was superb in the first half, although he faded after the break. Joel Colwill looked a little shaky out of position at RB but did well when he was pushed into an attacking midfield role. Kpakio continues to impress, I think he will be involved in the first team at some point this season. Fagan-Walcott lost his man a couple of times, especially when defending crosses, but he looks comfortable on the ball.
Turnbull flatters to deceive. He won posession high up a couple of times, but also skied a few half decent chances. Etete was very poor. I'm not one of his usual boo boys but he displayed all the traits that frustrate people so much: weak, going down too easy, not enough desire or hunger. As for Robinson... I think he's had a good pre-season so far and if he CA get back to his previous levels, he could be like a new signing.
As for the stream: Bet365 usually show live feeds on their website, for those who have an account. Yesterday it was clearly a different feed to the official City one, as the camera was on the opposite side of the pitch. Might be worth a try for the Hertha match.
