Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I’d look to bring on Reindorf for Meite now to chase them down.

Sunderland just got another. Two goals in two minutes from them.

This may suit his pace, he looked like a rabbit in the headlights mid week when he was called upon.

I thought Meite lead the line pretty well today.

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Oh ****, he’s brought Kanga on instead of Reindorf.
It’s all about running and closing down now…and he brings on the laziest player I’ve seen.

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Couple of good bits of hold up play by Kanga

Well done Alnwick.

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Desperately disappointing to play that well and concede that late.
-
Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Alnwick pulled off some excellent saves but what was he doing there.
Good performance from the lads though. Chambers is still a liability at the back for me.
-
Re: FT: STOKE CITY 2 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Alnwick makes some good saves, but two costly mistakes. FFS.

What a ridiculously stupid move by Alnwick at the end of the game. Instead of coming out to claim it he got trapped in no man's land. So unnecessary IMO

Good performances aren’t enough against the lower half. That’s another hammer blow to confidence.

Re: FT: STOKE CITY 2 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
What a pisser, what was Alnwick up to? He stays put and it’s a simple catch.

Re: FT: STOKE CITY 2 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Lost all composure around the ninety one minute and the equaliser seemed inevitable to me. We’ve played pretty well in our last two away games, but drawing on your travels and being absolute garbage at home = relegation.
-
Re: FT: STOKE CITY 2 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Takes his best player off and his replacement gives the free kick. Talk about your subs making an impact.

And Stoke were abject. That was a huge missed opportunity. With 3 centre backs we should have with dealt with their hoofball at the end. Robertson for Willock didn't help us either keep the ball or keep their defenders occupied.

We have played so many terrible teams this year.
There seems to be a handful of good teams and then a whole load of absolute dross.

Oxford dropping like a stone. Plymouth getting thumped most weeks. Think Hull will pick up, so it's between us and Portsmouth - even at this stage of the season..

Did we though? It's always frustrating to lose so late in the game and yes, we could and should have won. But deserve to? I think a draw was a fair result.

Re: FT: STOKE CITY 2 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Given our starting line up, that’s a fantastic result
