Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
no press, no movement, no battle for 50/50 balls, this is not entertaining at all, in terms of excitement this is one of the worst Cardiff City teams i've ever seen, maybe even the worst..

Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
They look nervous, the amount of times Robertson has had the ball and just turned and spun on it, when he joined us he would have played that first time.
Ashford the only one really giving it a go.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
City have been awful. Stoke far more likely to score, and they haven't been great.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
At least Luton are losing at moment.
Rest are drawing.

Certainly not the Robinson that Portsmouth fans were begging their club to sign during the summer and bring back to Fratton Park.

Stoke had easily the best chance early doors when Baker fired over, and they hit the bar not long before half time. We have offered f all.
Will need a big improvement 2nd half to win this.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
typical bottom of the table game so far really. I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised about that

I can accept a lack of quality, what I can't accept is a lack of endeavour.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
on the plus side we've scored about 3 times as many goals in the second half of home games this season as in the first

I don't think this is one of the worst Cardiff teams you have seen, unless you have only been coming down since season 2000/2001. We are so poor this season, as we are stuck with a manager who hasn't got a fcuking clue off the pitch and no leader on the it.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
Robertson must be playing in diving boots, so slow

To be fair he specifically said in terms of excitement it's the worst. I'd agree.

Turnbull on for Robinson.
Hopefully this will make the midfield function a little better.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
There is no way we finish above derby so don't mind them winning.
Oxford winning isn't cool though but they keep doing it.
Think we done for.

We are down if we seriously think that Turnbull is going to save us.

That's Oxford and Stoke safe. It's looking bleak now.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread

For me it's the season we drew 23 out of 46 games under Kenny Hibbert ('96/97?). Now that season was mind numbing boring to say the least
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
The goal was, as usual an absolute shitshow of defending

I'd put the tea lady in charge for the rest of the season

-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
Beaten by a crap side who are much better than us.
Could have been 3 or4 before they scored.

Laughable at the time. Laughable now.
