What a pathetic team. Can't see how that shower lay a glove on Switzerland

England's own version of rope-a-dope.

And they'll start polishing the MBEs , etc if this goes on.

Don't leave early.

Was brilliant on the way home on the TITs "BUS" ... had its day .
England have one of the most amazing squads that I can remember assembled from any country.
They should go all the way ,although they have been misfiring up to now .
Its a results business and they won.
I wont be surprised if they win it.

Re: EUROS thread. Sunday 30th June 2024.
That's a shame
Hopefully the Swiss can put them out but I doubt it

Re: EUROS thread. Sunday 30th June 2024.
The first 2 mins of Spain v Georgia and it’s like night and day to the England performance. Sharper, quicker etc.

Great break as well
Not much the defender could do to be fair to him, wicked bounce just ahead of him, if he leaves it then its a tap in for Kvaratshkelia
The way the likes of George & Slovakia have acquitted themselves at this tournament makes Wales' failure and excuses even more frustrating

Exactly. It’s not worth getting fired up about. Not caring is a good start I find.

Kvaratskhelia misses an open goal, get him off!

You’ve got to admit this game is like night and day compared to the earlier game.
If Spain don’t score a few I’ll be amazed.

Absolutely. England have been appalling. I was prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt after the first game as getting three points on the board was all that really mattered at that stage, but they’ve been dreadful since.
Southgate’s team selections and tactics have been mind-numbingly poor and the players have looked totally listless. He’s a very lucky man to still be in a job.
This is a fascinating contest, though. Very entertaining so far.

This feels like a different sport. Brilliant. Surely this is how it is supposed to be?

Do you think it’s all down to the manager?
No doubt England have the talent and flair, but they just seem to be scared stiff to let it all flow.
Watching this game now, and it absolute top class entertainment. End to end. Magnificent stuff.

Re: EUROS thread. Sunday 30th June 2024.
Where does Rodri rank amongst the best in the world? Always seems to pop up at the right moments, the key player for probably the best club side in the world

Re: EUROS thread. Sunday 30th June 2024.
Watching how Nico Williams plays the game, and it’s like going back in time to the old fashioned out and out wingers, like John Robertson, Alan Devonshire etc.
