Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
Darland is off to Düsseldorf.
Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
Guessing Darland deal was dependent on Osho signing which was dependant on Auxerre injury situation
Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
Emilio Lawrence getting rumoured. Winger from Man City
Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
Significant transfer in our division as Tahith Chong moves from Luton to Sheffield Utd. He hasn’t played for them this season through injury, but he’s somebody who would definitely strengthen their side if he was in it, so good news for us.
Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
I'm surprised to see Ollie Palmer drop to league two. I thought someone in our division would have picked him up

That is a big blow for them!
I thought he was sometimes erratic, but the sort of player who injects energy and a sense that something positive can happen.

He's clocking on a bit.
I wonder if L1 is a place where clubs are inclined more toward youngsters - whether home-grown or on loan from higher divisions?
I sensed that Wrexham were a relatively older team from the matches I saw on tv last season.

He’s one of the “Premier League’ players that Luton fans seem to despise now. Thought he did well in the top flight, but it seems he was a bit of a waste of space in a Championship relegation scrap. Not sure what to make of Sheffield United at the moment, the place must be so flat after the way last season ended.

But that doesn't mean there has been an official enquiry, or a valuation that would make Cardiff sit up and consider.
Given the way we have started and the clear impact of BBM on the squad, I imagine it would take more than a wage increase and a jump up to the Championship to convince Ashford a move would be in his best interests - even if the club is persuaded and has time to bring in (or promote) a replacement.
On the day Osho confirms he has dropped from Ligue 1 to League One it doesn't sound so daft to say that Cardiff City (where Ashford will play the majority of games) might be a more attractive option than Sheffield United (where anything could happen).

We are delighted to welcome Jack Kingdon to the Bluebirds, who will link up with Darren Purse's U21 side
The 19-year-old defender arrives in the Welsh capital from Manchester United
Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
Apparently we were after Dan Scarr from wrexham at one point
The Millers are close to securing the permanent signing of defender Dan Scarr from Wrexham, beating competition from Cardiff City and Plymouth Argyle to his signature.
find this one a bit iffy

If he's ended up at Rotherham, I doubt we were interested
He doesn't fit the mould of what signings we've made so far, or what teams we've been playing either

He scored 3 in 27 last season, and 7 in 39 in League 2. He's not very good.
Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
Kilmarnock apparently after Nyakuhwa on loan.
Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
Kilmarnock have made an offer to Cardiff City to take Tanatswa Nyakuhwa on loan.

a loan to Scotland did earnie a world of good
Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
If we do loan Nyakuhwa, we need another winger on a permanent, one of quality. Poku has been suggested for a couple of years, but he recently joined Pompey. A player of quality interested in the project capable of creating chances for Salech, quality playmaking. Someone with an Olise profile

Us signing Scarr would have been more believable if we still had Zimba.
Talking of him, I see he's at Inverness CT now. 3 goals in 5 appearances this season.

He'd fit the bill BBM mention he can play anywhere in the attacking third and looking at his PL2 figures was pretty impressive last year.

Not good enough, from the 80 seconds of YouTube footage I watched.
