Going much further back Born Maesteg now Brighton.
And so many I can't remember.
Not being pedantic but his name was Archibald LEITCH not Leech. If you google them both you'll see the difference and the relevance to a football chat room.. It is quite enlightning

I loved his character in A Fish Called Wanda - which is obviously in relation to all the fishing that goes on here.

Gill delivered an invaluable service at the time. CCMB led innovative techniques and pushed boundaries in the early days of following football online.

Re: CCMB posters who have disappeared from this board.
Don't see so many fans of other teams on here lately. There used to be quite a few Jacks, a Newport County fan who's avatar was the Newport badge with a picture of a player in the middle of it? Walkely Owl - Sheff Wed. Jursett who turned into a decent poster last off. QPR London. Any more?

He was a good contributor, and I particularly remember his anger following the rebrand debacle.
Mark Watkins. Posted as Dr Pop. RIP. Terrible loss.
Quiz master, had a book on City published, huge City and Wales fan, great guy.

changes to the format probably cost us some people. registrations are blocked at the moment. if they are opened the process gets spammed by hundreds of bots each day.
I wish FM would sort it out. Maybe one day I'll go independent.

You are right. I realised when it was too late to change. Got it right in a later post. The real one designed football ground stands I believe

I saw the pictures in the ''How many posters on this forum do you know in real life?'' thread, but didn't know who was who. It was the first time I'd seen Sludge. Not how I imagined he looked :hehe:

Did any ever PM Dudders.
Wasn't he another casualty of the rebrand.
Didn't he support Spurs afterwards for some reason I can't remember
