Maybe with me being away we will win comfortably.
Both sides have had poor starts to the season and a loss for either side will see that teams manager under real pressure.
We haven’t beaten them by more than 1 goal in the league since 1964 or something insane like that. It’s like God is just giving them the football results in pity for the shithole they have to live in…..

Match Facts:
- Cardiff have lost their last four league games against Swansea City - this is the longest run of victories by either side in this South Wales derby in the English Football League.
- Swansea have won their last three league visits to Cardiff, having only won five of their first 29 English Football League games at the Bluebirds between 1929 and 2020 (W5 D10 L14).
- Cardiff are without a clean sheet in their last 16Cha mpionship games, the longest current run of any Championship side. They last went longer without a shutout between August 2021 and January 2022 (25 games).
- Swansea City have dropped the most points from winning positions in the Championship this season (6), losing their last two after going 1-0 ahead. Opponents Cardiff, meanwhile, have failed to win either of their two games this season after going 2-0 ahead (drew 2-2 with Leeds, lost 3-2 to Ipswich).
- There were 15 passes in the build-up to Aaron Ramsey's goal against Ipswich Town last time out, the most in the build-up to a Championship goal scored by Cardiff City since December 2015 (Tony Watt vs Bolton, also 15 passes).

5-0 to Cardiff in April 1965. Ivor Allchurch 3 and John Charles 2; both Swansea born.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
I think if City are to win Ramsey will be directly involved either with a goal or an assist.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
Fair play to Bulut brining Alnick back in.
Shame about Ralls.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
Colwill, Tanner and Etete lined up as the second half impact game changers. They've started to become joined at the hip.
Glad Alnwick has got the nod.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread

They said following an injury, I guess they didn’t want to risk anyone not 100%

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
We are usually a nice lifeline for clubs that need points, i don't think we'll be any different today
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
Early doors but so far it's been a poor game between two poor sides.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
Well we've done better than their last 3 trips here by not conceding in the first ten minutes

Pretty poor game, when was the last time we had more possession than Swansea I wonder.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
I would love to know what the offensive pass success rate is
Close to 0 I’d assume
