Pretty ironic first paragraph!

Apparently, she has a camper van to dispose of, going cheap.

It looks like some of those emails I mentioned have turned up.
"According to the Sunday Mail, detectives investigating the funding and finances of the SNP have been passed emails from June 2021"

Nicola to resign sooner rather that later?

Re: Nicola Sturgeon to resign as Scotland First Minister.
I cannot put into words how upsetting this is although until I read it on the BBC I consider this as Fake News!!!!

Re: Nicola Sturgeon to resign as Scotland First Minister.
It is absolutely devastating to see the SNP exposed like this. They always seemed like such good guys.

Nicola Sturgeon accused of diverting 'jaw-dropping' £17.6bn away from the NHS
The First Minister was accused by the Scottish Tories of not utilising Barnett Consequentials from Westminster designated for the NHS and instead spending it elsewhere.

Clearly, the dancing nurses , doorstep clapping , save the NHS slogans etc was just pure propaganda :hehe:
Now it’s onto climate change they can’t even offer them a decent wage.
I wonder where the money went.

This claim has been made by English and Scottish Tories for years - first against Labour, and now against the SNP.
Where did the money go? From a quick scan of the inter web it appears the money not passed directly through to the Scottish NHS (funded by Scottish income tax as well as unhypothicated block grant) has gone to education, early years support, some capital programmes, but mainly to adult social care.
This is not a new story.
That said, the SNP record on health and other core services is not great.

At least they spent it and not sent it back

I’m sure the donations of hard working SNP members were used to buy the vehicle - supposed to be the SNP campaign and election bus.
But ‘luxury motor home’?
The picture I saw didn’t fit that description. It was more like a camper van!

Yeah, but the police impounded it, so I was just wondering if it was connected.

Very unclear who on this board ever defended the SNP but it is worthy of ironic note that it is over four years since Robert Mueller concluded his special counsel investigation.

There's definitely been a few on here who have been pretty pro SNP, mainly because it 'protects' Scotland from the Dick Dasterdly Tories.
That's fine of course. I don't like the SNP but they are clearly a mixed bag of good and bad like any other country and they run Scotland in a clearly competent manner even if some policy decisions are unwise

Police investigating SNP finances are 'examining a wide range of party purchases' including luxury pens, jewellery and even a fridge freezer
