The other one would be the alternative to Ledley but not been mentioned yet today, the link was a while ago.

I predict an FA Cup final appearance before a rapid freefall down to League 2.

Certainly not. I'm outside Howell's school as I type this, and he is nowhere to be seen.

I'm genuinely not sure mate. He could be a PL star, but the jury is still out for me. Think he was hyped because of the way he broke onto the international scene which was impressive no doubt. I'm just not convinced about his footballing brain. Yet.

Transfer fees no longer have any relevance for premier league clubs.

Re: Transfer deadline day thread...
Seems only Bolton showing any interest in Noone but they can't really afford him partly due to wage sanctions or something. Have Bolton got any players we might be interested in?

Stuart O'Keefe loan deal to Pompey confirmed by club.

Re: Transfer deadline day thread...
Regardless of if we get and deals in before the deadline, this has been a great window. Value for money transfers in and surplus squad players now off our books. Be interesting to know if the loannee's wages are being covered by ourselves in anyway. I would assume Rangers and Pompey paid no loan fee for either player.
