As said earlier, Wrexham aren’t great at defending set pieces.
FT: 3-3
Excellent entertainment
Really good all action cup tie.
Entertaining cup tie that.
Gutting for Wrexham, cracking tie but can't help feel they've missed a corker of an opportunity there.
Be much tougher again at Bramall Lane.
Agree the problem is a lot of them are bore festivals
I thought Man City Arsenal was drab , all that talent
Embarrassed as a City fan today. When did we play with passion and commitment and no little skill like Wrexham just have? They would beat us 9 times out of 10 on that performance.
Brilliant game, nice to see some goals.
I wonder if Wrexham will put out a weakened side for the replay and whether their fans want them to? They lost 2 of their defence to injuries and on the slim chance they win the replay, it just adds another game to a very congested fixture list. They've not got the same levels of fitness as Championship teams and it was noticeable in the final 20 against Coventry and again today.
They've got no chance of winning the cup and the normal financial incentive for the lower league teams to do well isn't a concern for Wrexham.
If I were a Wrexham fan I think I'd happily throw the replay to focus on the league and pipping a very strong Notts County to first place.
Just one thing about the injury time. 7 minutes were awarded at the end, Sheffield United scored and we lost easily a minute of play, yet the ref blew up bang on 7 minutes. I thought that if a goal was scored in injury time the ref had to add on the time that was lost for celebrating etc?
:hehe:
Feck wrecksum
They are just the new Salford city its an unfair playing field for the clubs around them.
If we don't play like this against Luton then La'bamba can feck off
Great game, thats what the FA cup is about, I knew as soon as Gabbs awarded MoM to Mullins and said " and he scored the winner " it was doomed
It'll make a great episode for WtW
YES
I remember when some City fans had a soft spot for little old Swansea….look where that got us.
The kind of club the sycophantic pundits would love dining at the top table.
Falling over themselves to interview RR with the prospect of a career in Hollywood :puke:
