Not a fan of a City team with no Colwill AND Davies in the 18.

It's a big game.
I'd be more worried if the players didn't think the exact same thing. We're not in any position to be just dismissing games in the name of improvement. They've got to own the situation that they created with their performances.

Looks like wingbacks again, effectively a 5-2-3 from what I can make out, or a 3-4-3 if you consider the wingbacks as midfielders I s'pose...
Be interesting to see if it is that or something else completely.

So that means either there’s a anti-Rubin agenda from the top
He’s not good enough
Or he is always injured

Re: HULL CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Benjamin is Captain of the u23’s
He’s a really quick and tenacious centre half
Was on the bench last week as well but didn’t get on 👍

Why would they not play a player if he would improve the team?
I'd bet on one of the latter two.

4-2-3-1 maybe.

What’s the manager seen that we haven’t?
As I’ve seen a player that ambles round the pitch and can’t get into 3rd gear
Legs have gone and hasn’t influenced a game this season

Well, I can't see him being forward of O'Dowda, so I feel sure he's going to be left-back again.

so either kaba's arrived or hes playing via teams... :tumbleweed:

Unless it's 3/5 at the back?
But Simpson at LB is more likely. And worrying.

In fairness, the new manager has to try something different as the same old certainly hasn't been working.
As regards Colwill and Davies, have either of them done anything in recent times to justify selection? If so, I haven't seen it.

Going by his last outing, I would suggest option 2. I hope he rediscovers some form (and his best position) soon, he is young enough.

He didn't exactly cover himself in glory when he came on against Luton. He gave the ball away far too easily and looked as weak as a kitten, which given his 6.9ft stature was surprising.

I think the 20 minutes or so he saw of him on Tuesday helped him with his decision..

Davies did very well against Leeds

Pointless.
I've noticed that some posters snipe, deride and insult on a perfectly normal thread, which puts a lot of posters off from posting. This board has declined in politeness in line with the club's fortunes, which is sad.

If he had 2 players around him to pick up the pieces when he does give the ball away (which he does consistently) we might have the ability to give him the licence to have that free role he’d suit
But we’re crap and we can’t.
Id expect he’s injured though
