Saying that I detest Wyn Evans but thats because hes a Tory Twat so maybe Im wrong.
I think you mean envy rather than jealousy because I've got nothing to lose and whilst I think that a particularly valid emotion that's not the case in this instance.
I think detest is a reasonable expression if one hates the sound of some music so much it amounts to an assault on the ears. I feel the same way about Queen by the way and they're not Welsh. I know I'm probably in the minority and loads like them but their music is just dirge to me, just like Coldplay....oh I could go on 😜

**** me butt, show some heart.
Chris Needs MBE, RIP 'In the Garden'.
Fair enough. I'm obviously sorry he died but I used to cringe when he came on the radio driving home from a game. My sister in law was on first name terms with him. For me, he used to make me feel the need to apologise for being Welsh. I'm sure he was a very nice chap but I have no idea what he was doing on the radio.

Totally agree with you and he definitely wasn't my cup of tea but Jordi's bang on; the guy provided a great service to loads of lonely people so good on him for that.

If so then good on him. Not my cup of tea.

Thankfully there will be a lot less to detest within 18 months since so many will have recanted by then.

Show some respect for the heroic dead. I expect better from you too when considering your moniker.
Didn't stop him being annoying

In retrospect he was ok for a Tory, but I didn't think so at the time.
There have been a few others that compared to the current bunch weren't so bad, but you have to remember that their raison d'etre is to maintain power in the hands of the few and make the rich richer

But we digress

There’s very few people I ‘detest’ for political opinions unless you are a proper wrongun, I.E Tommy Robinson.
But let’s be honest, the UK is a successful country relatively speaking, Wales is not. Wales when we were in the EU was one of the worst performing countries on a number of metrics - education, health, relative income etc. Basically the things that matter to a nation’s development, any Welsh person who actually thinks the tories, and Brexit is a good vote for Wales is thick as ****.
Unfortunately, there are lot of thick people in Wales, ridiculous that the richest major populated place in Wales (Cardiff) is the most left wing. Make that make sense.

I’d add Rory Stewart to a list of liberal’s ina Tory suit, he’d be a better candidate for Labour leader than Startmer is.

Loads of wealthy lefties in pontcanna, canton and Roath…..love the way a thread about bucket hats turned to Tory hate, only on here eh? I guess after Labour win the next two elections we can slate them when they fall to pieces in disarray like they all do….feel sorry for people who waste their lives bleating on about different parties when there’s basically no difference, nothing changes.

I feel sorry for people who can't see the difference.

It would take me about three months to give you a complete analysis so not enough room on CCMB unfortunately. Good to see you on sentry duty today Corporal

Some say austerity only came about due to him literally throwing cash about to keep everyone happy whilst letting anyone in the country, selling off all the uk gold stocks amongst plenty of other bizarre acts, like they all do. A tough question, if you had to take one into the trenches with you out of bliar or bungerling bo, who would it be?
