Re: FT: HAMBURGER SV 0 - 3 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
This was exactly the same squad of SV Hamburg as yesterday, (v Nantes), both teams made lots of changes, and second half City played a very young team. The German fans loved seeing Rambo, and were also impressed with Isaak Davis when he came on.
Robert Glatzel is yet to play this pre season, due to an injury.

They used about 26 players v Nantes, playing in 30 min periods, so fatigue shouldn’t be an issue.

They didn’t have a full squad, they only had Five Guys on the bench.

At 3 nil down they were always going to be side struggling to ketchup especially as we obviously ran rings round them.

Re: Hamburger SV Highlights
Ball over the top for Isaac, a while since we've seen a goal like that, although they defended like a pub team!

Re: FT: HAMBURGER SV 0 - 3 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
We have just played well and beaten a decent German league team, who have some decent players, 3-0, albeit in a warm up/friendly game and all some you you lot can do is look for negative reasons why that is the case i.e they played a weak team, were tired from other games etc etc. Why not just take the win, admit it was a decent performance and look forward to the new season with some positivity ?

What was your opinion regarding the 1-0 defeat to Kidderminster twelve days ago?
