Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Good half, certainly giving it a good go, two very good goals. Ashford probably should have done better with his chance but he’s been excellent.
Sio looks a lot more comfortable with Chanbers alongside him.

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
anyone else get the feeling this performance is a show of strength and solidarity in answer to the fans revolt at Oxford, the first goal celebration seemed like a player vote of confidence in their manager, and Robinson didn't run to the fans for the second goal celebration.. either way, more of this type of effort please.

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Don't want to tempt fate, but our previous form suggests we need at least another goal to win
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Chambers indeed in midfield and doing well

We badly need some hope today but 3 points would be even better. Definitely need at least one more goal, probably 2.

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Their commentators very impressed with Ashford

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
That was a yellow in normal circumstances
Referee bottled it

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The performance is so much better than a few days ago, the effort and desire that was missing against Oxford is definitely there today. Just don’t bring on Meite Kanga and El Ghazi!

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
How is that a yellow for Chambers? He makes a good tackle and then the Watford player decides to get his legs tangled up afterwards.

Better than when he was in defence but that wasn’t hard, he was calamitous and one of the worst centre backs we’ve had for years.

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Prefer Chambers in midfield

Prefer him off the pitch but midfield if he has to play.
