Contrast that to the last fifteen years when we have had a billionaire/multi millionaire “benefactor “ who, to be fair to him, has sanctioned transfer spending which should have resulted in more than two promotions followed immediately by two relegations.
It’s been a huge, huge opportunity wasted and a complete failure which sees us now plumbing on field depths we never did under Peter Ridsdale. Tan’s time here has turned into an abject failure largely because of two things, he, and Dalman, have been dreadful at picking new managers and he has stuck stubbornly to a policy based on a distrust of “football men” founded on his Mackay/Moody experiences almost a dozen years ago. Such a policy may have worked when I was a kid, but, it would be laughable these days if it wasn’t my club involved.
I don’t blame anyone if they think marches and demonstrations against Tan are called for, but I can’t see them removing him while the Emiliano Sala situation remains unclear.

Reading between the lines, it’s worse now because we have more money?

The money coming from the benefactor we’re protesting against

He's not a benefactor. He's a businessman. Just not a very good one. And that's squarely on him.

It was a moment in time .As was Watford. Much happier to see the team winning and supporters enjoying their day out .

He’s the major shareholder propping up the club to the tune of £12m per year. What would happen if he no longer wanted to plough in £12m , would we still survive?

Cardiff have potential , another investor would step in . Would they be better or worse ,that is the big question.

Plenty of clubs are struggling, look at Sheffield Wednesday, their latest accounts are horrible, potential buyers “better than tan” are few and far between are they not ?

No idea about their accounts, but Sheffield Wednesday’s team is considerably less horrible than ours at present. And that’s what fans care about, right?

I was talking from a potential viewpoint of an investor, I simply can’t see anyone wanting to buy us at the moment especially with the Sala litigation ongoing.

Fans generally don’t care about boardroom shenanigans unless there are free ice creams on offer.

I once had free fish and chips at Mansfield from Sam Hammam but I went off him as there was no curry sauce available.

HMRC winding up orders , Wages not being paid , possible points being deducted, transfer embargo, possible relegation and possible expulsion from the league ( very worst case scenario )

Who was responsible for the HMRC action and the ability not to pay players wages ?
I’ve no idea what Tan and Dalman will do , but I do know they put in 12m per year to keep us competitive

HMRC were responsible for HMRC’s action. I can’t recall players’ wages not being paid, no idea who was running the club if and when that happened.

I think I’m right in saying Tan has vowed that when he eventually leaves the club will be in a better position than when he took over. So perhaps you don’t believe him?
