It's a pretty poor game and our set-piece play and balls into the box have been terrible. But what have Hull done?
Passed it around in our half for 45 minutes, which for a must win game at home against a team around us in the table shouldn't be the game plan to let the other team do, surely?

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
Some decent breaks the odd minute we get the ball. Need much more in the 2nd half.

Horvath hasn’t had to make a save has he? As far as I’m concerned, they can pass it around as much as they like if they’re not going to trouble the keeper

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
we're clearly looking to draw them into our half and then hit them on the break, and to be fair we've had the best chances with that approach.
I suppose it makes sense to play like the away side when we both have terrible home records

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
Willock & Robinson off, Davies & Colwill on

Brilliant, 0-0 at home against the team 20th in the table. What a result for plucky little Cardiff, I just hope we can hold onto it in the second half.

That would make sense if our away record wasn't worse.

He may have but it'll be a poor decision. No pace and he won't track and help the fullback.
He's been poor again for me tonight.

True but that's not hard.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
We haven’t made any of our calamitous errors yet so that’s something to look forward to in the second half.

rubin and Davies for Robinson and Willock, giving the front 4 an average age of 22.

Or we catch them on the break which we’ve tried several times grumpy guts.

Co-commentator isn't very observant is he. Only now noticed the wingers have changed sides despite the Salech chance being created by an Ashford burst down the right

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
And i just slagged him off haha great finish.

Great finish, nice ball in by Willock as well and a really classy ball from Mannsverk out wide in the build up too. Much better.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
Horvarth has an annoying habit of passing to the defenders with a kind of looped ball that's annoying to control when there's a forward breathing down your neck (and when you aren't very good) I wish he'd just take a touch himself

Against the side which has beaten two of the top 4 away recently without conceding goal!
You forgot that bit!

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
Pace on both sides with Davies coming on

Does Rinomhota's dodgy touch just then count?
