With Salech up front I don't see why we are passing from the back as he's a great outlet.
Exactly, we need to get the ball as far away from our goal as quickly as possible. If it comes back from around the half way line, so be it but to nigh on pass the ball to them 20/25 yards from our goal is madness.

Re: SUNDERLAND v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Derby 2 up as well, got the makings of a really bad day for us. At least Luton down to 10, but we only need one of the bottom 3 to start winning to put us right back in the shite.

Doesn't happen, unless you can show me the posts where i directly blame colwill for our losses.

For years you've demanded a long ball game, so you'll never be happy with a City side who does something different.

Re: SUNDERLAND v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Trying to play out from the back when we don’t have the skill set to do so against players who are a street better than we are at recovering the ball when not in possession
The obligatory ffs

Re: SUNDERLAND v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I can’t figure out what formation or system we are trying to play.
1 winger and 2 number 10’s?
3-5-2 I guess?

Absolutely, I just don't think that we can blame the coaching staff the whole time. Those cocks on the pitch need to take some responsibility

4-2-3-1 with colwill drifting off the wing to join the middle to allow Robinson to push into a top 2.

Re: SUNDERLAND v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I'd call our passing utter shite, but that would be an insult to shite. What the feck was NG doing there, got Davies making a run, waits 4 seconds and passes it straight to the other team, brilliant.

Re: SUNDERLAND v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Is it me or is Mannsverk pretty poor at passing the ball?

Where I have I "demanded" we are a long ball team. 😂????
You play to your strengths. There is no point passing from the back when we havent the players to do it.

Re: SUNDERLAND v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Luton losing and down to 10 men. Blackburn pulled one back.

Re: SUNDERLAND v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Get in. They all seemed buzzing for him. Let’s hope he kicks on now.
It was Salechs presence again..

Re: SUNDERLAND v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Salech did enough for the goal to upset the keeper. Good finish.
