Re: How do Labour voters feel about the party at the moment?
As was pointed out earlier it could be they are getting all the bad stuff front loaded and out of the way
That being said not only have Labour made some idiotic decisions even that which had to be done has been delivered so badly
Blair and his mob were far more wise

I think there is some truth in this, but I think the problem may be that any good will towards them, any "new manager bounce" etc was nipped in the bud and as such they have hi to confidence and growth.

Re: How do Labour voters feel about the party at the moment?
Labour’s attempts to steal the title of the nasty party from the Tories no longer come as a surprise. Apparently, NHS waiting lists are coming down, so that’s something I’d hope for and expect from a Labour Government, but I can’t think of anything else they’ve done I feel similarly about - this new Government aren’t as funny and corrupt as the last one , but they’re just as heartless and pro the rich as them.

I would like labour , liberals , greens , plaid etc to merge
A more united opposition and a divided and split right wing will keep them out
A few compromises will have to be made but there you go
Starmer arguing with the Liberal, snp , Plaid and green leaders is absolutely ridiculous when the common enemy is the conservatives

Agreed, the rich have them all in their pocket, except Corbyn, and of course he was taken out of play by the blob

👍 Exactly.

"The blob" didn't take him out of play, certainly no more scrutiny than Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage, Ed Miliband and the rest received.

I don’t know what ‘the blob’ is, but if you think the ‘scrutiny’ Corbyn faced (it wasn’t scrutiny - it was orchestrated political assassination) was in the same league as the others you ‘whatabouted’ you are deluded or dishonest. It wasn't traditional left-right knockabout - it was the whole of the mainstream media, included the supposed liberal bits, other political parties, foreign governments and commentators, the Labour right and Labour machine, and any ex general trying to do a 1970s David Sterling impression.

Our Right Wing friend would conveniently forget all this.

They are making a mess of the economy. There is no growth, so we have to keep increasing taxes. Reeves is acheiving the complete opposite of what she said she was trying to do. No wonder Halifax let her go. She'd have given the wrong change on the cash desk.

Depends really on which version of this MB back to when it started, but only two, never felt the need to go incognito.

Nonsense. It was no different to what they all face. Or at least anyone who goes against the status quo. The left just has an insane chip on its shoulder. Obviously his past comments will be investigated, twisted, explored. His economic policies gone through with a firm tooth comb etc. The guy could have been prime minister. That is scrutiny. You just call it an orchestrated political assassination. What do you call it if it's Farage then?
We probably agree on how the media try to twist and sensationalize things but for you to think it only applied to Corbyn (whereas I acknowledge it applies to all) is you being dishonest, or perhaps you just don't know about the other examples?
One of the greatest being the programme channel 4 put out called "UKIP: The first 100 days" which is still the most extraordinary biased intervention I have ever seen from a public broadcaster into an election.

Re: How do Labour voters feel about the party at the moment?
I don't feel I can comment on this thread as I didn't vote Labour. However, the only time I have ever voted Labour was when Corbyn was leader, Make of that what you will.
