Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
Another 2 points dropped from a game that we should have won. Too many draws like this could well send us down.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
Shit result made slightly better by Swansea and Oxford losing late. Riza did himself no favors with the subs and second half adjustments again - has Ollie Tanner ever trained at right back, because if he has it didn't show. Usual players haphazardly thrown on and hardly got into the game, as right as he got the first half second shows how out of his depth he is.
Worth noting we've now won less games than every team except Plymouth, I think that about sums it up. Think we're favorites to go down at this point seeing how Derby and Luton have picked it up.

I very much doubt it. If they’d wanted to sack him they would have done it by now.
(In some ways these lame draws are just prolonging his stay of execution whilst we amble towards relegation)

I reckon so. Lost count of the number of times we have drawn or lost this season from being 1-0 up. So frustrating!

Yep.
Yet again the opposition changed the game and we stood by and watched.
Poor management.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
If Ashford and Davies aren't in every starting lineup for the rest of the season it will really tell us all we need to know.
I'd love to hear Riza's answer on why the one player who can put his foot on the ball, push us forward, beat a man and create chances and has done in basically every chance he's been given has not been in the side for all these critical games. No doubt something about hexagons and dodecahedrons or some shite.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
Threw another 2 pts away, failing to score a 2nd goal and defending badly at a corner.
It is a waste of time us taking corners. ODowda not good enough. Turnbull was taking them earlier in season. Only decent corner taker we have is Ralls and I'm not sure we'll see him again.

The JBs equalised in the 96th minute :-/
At Leeds. Where we conceded seven…..

Looking very bleak for us now. Think we need to get something from every game from now on.

Doesn't help when we put five in the six yard box including two on the keeper, Ng and others doing their shithouse routine to delay the take and then after all that give a free kick away every time. What the hell was that all about.

Agreed.
Frustrating is an understatement.

Looks like we need 9 pts now, which is more than i thought a couple of weeks ago.

Unlikely they were going to get dragged back into it, and I'd love to see Leeds cock it up as usual, so torn on that one. But yeah, shows just how poor we are this year the contrast in results, Swansea are crap and totally directionless.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
Another clown of a referee. Gives the same foul to them that he doesn’t give on NG before their goal. Neither was actually a foul but what’s the difference? El Ghazi was a waste of a sub today. We had to score a second when were dominating the first half

Yes, compare with their goal. Pinpoint cross from Bannon with hardly anyone in box for them.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
Derby win their game in hand and we’re in the relegation zone

ElGhazi. What a load of rubbish. What has he done to deserve to play?

Would be very surprised to see us above Derby again this season if that happens. We need two of five teams to be worse than us over the last 7 games or it's looking very grim. Can't see where 3 wins are coming from... we just don't capitalize enough when we are on top of games and the manager and the squad aren't good enough tactically to hold onto leads if we do get them.

When we didn't do that we did the same and Salech really should have scored. Then did that stupid routine every time the rest of the game.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
Weak minded group of players.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
We are going down. All on the board.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
Top to bottom, they’re all culpable:
Tan, the other 2 clowns, the rest of the board, Riza, coaching staff, medical/fitness staff, the players.

You reckon? i'm all for leaving it to the last game of the season where we need to win by 8 clear goals
