We have to win. Id rather be 1 behind Derby and 2 behind Swansea.

Yeah the run derby on they should escape comfortably.
I've got a bad feeling they will lose today and pick up their run again though. The worst of all worlds.

I can't fault the team he's picked, just hope we score more than one goal.

Yes, definitely looks an attacking lineup

Is that 4 - 1 - 4 - 1 ?
A lot of work for Mannsverk, and a lot of pressure on Rino and Bagan.
Certainly brave.

That team looks a bit kamekazi. It’s either a master stroke or a 0-5 defeat.

I reckon Colwill in midfield, as he was at Villa
Pure guesswork, but I doubt this was the original plan

Yes, that’s what I was thinking.

Colwill will play deeper like he did at villa?

Re: QUEENS PARK RANGERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Colwill instead of Chambers has to be a huge positive.
-
Re: QUEENS PARK RANGERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Midfield looks weak to me.
I would have started Turnbull or Tobertson over Colwill,

High risk but hopefully high reward.

Is Robertson injured as he’d be in my starting XI every time?
(I can’t say that about Turnbull though)

Physically our defence and midfield is weak and I dont think there's much we can do about that.
Turnbull or Robertson wouldn't change that.

Apart from the obvious, my only thought going into this game was I'd rather see us shut up shop, crowd midfield for the 1st 45 and then take it from there. We honestly don't have the resilience or discipline to hold on to an early/1st half lead..
-
Re: QUEENS PARK RANGERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
We have to take chances I dont think we are capable of clean sheets.

I'm not convinced any game approach based on defence is sensible.
Riza seems to have hardened his distrust of Goutas and Daland - leaving only one starting defender in his natural position.
Attack, attack, attack.... and hope for the best!
