I don't know where this idea Welsh players get special treatment comes from, there aren't many players in our squad that get more stick than Rubin Colwill for instance. Same for Mark Harris & Will Vaulks when they were here.

Karlan Grant own goal in the 97th minute to keep his old club alive. You read it here first.

I think the welsh ones promote more extreme views either way.

Young welsh players get talked up massively, way above their ability, that's probably why there are more counter arguments. If people were balanced on their views and opinions on young players coming through, then there wouldn't be so much criticism, and there isn't really. Welsh home grown players are always going to be treated differently to those who aren't from the local area, i get that, but there has to be balance, and these players can't just be defended because of where they were born, which happens a lot. Oddly enough, Ashford hasn't had the same treatment, much more balanced approach on all sides.

I think that's probably a fair assessment

I think a couple of them have, but I wouldn't call the stick that Harris got and Colwill gets (increasingly) as counter arguments to be honest, some of it gets quite nasty on social media in particular
I think its natural that younger players get talked up a bit, but I also think a large part of why they're talked up is that no one has ever actually seen them play aside from a few snippets. Look at the treatment Reindorf got and Simic is getting, neither of those are Welsh or have come through our system but they're the saviours apparently, we see the same thing with players being out injured, nothing is better for a player's perceived ability than some time out of the side

I don't think that Colwill gets much of a mention on here anymore, i don't have social media (is this social media?) so i'll take your word for it on those platforms, and i can well believe you, vile platforms that encourage vile behaviour.
Completely agree with you about injured players and Reindorf, that poor bugger was a victim of the kanga affect :hehe: although it's plain to see, as it was during his brief appearances, that he has plenty of work to do. I think O' dowda's valuation went up for every week he was out injured.... :hehe:

At the time there were fans who weren’t too fussed on Toshack.

Luton charge to safety continues.
100% certain we are mathematically if we don't win today.
99% we are down anyway even if we do win so not much to get excited about people.

two wins required (on the bounce) when we've only won a handful of games all season and still relying on other results is pretty grim, and not a position we should've found ourselves in..
🤡 club.

We have survived off the misfortune of others for a few years now and that can’t continue forever.
We actually have to win some games like those around us are doing.
And we haven’t so will rightly be relegated.
This season has been utterly pathetic. And everyone needs to take some of the blame.
