Re: Things that mildly irritate you
The state of the Welsh BBC at the minute, every other programme is the same couple of comedians (Rhod Gilbert) or Eggmen being given a "docutainment" vehicle to pay for their new conservatory :
"Running is good for you"
"Factory work is hard"
"Trains in Wales are bad"
"Agricultural work is hard"
"There's still homophobia in football"
"Work traditionally performed by women, but in this case performed by Rhod Gilbert is hard"
Probably just jealous because no-one will comission my series on things that are hard to do when you first start doing them, but later might be a little easier with practise.

That is not part perfect. Past pefect is a completed action in the past, "I made an error" past imperfect is a continuing action in the past such as "I was making an error and then realise my mistake"
I had made an error is technically past pluperfect. That is something which happened in the pasr which is used to referecne another more recent thing in the past, 'so was corrected' is past perfect but 'had made an error' is past pluperfect.
I beleive!!! :getscoat::getscoat:

I was once asked by a yank what part of London Wales is in.
I corrected his lack of knowledge, He now knows 'it's a whole country (?)' the quetion mark was in the inflexion in his voice,

Waking up approximately 40mins before your alarm goes off busting for a slash and lying there wondering whether to try to drop off back to sleep to grab that valuable extra sleep or get up knowing theres no point getting back into bed. You cant ignore a full bladder, it wins every time

When hypebeasts wear hyped up items of clothing and they don't match. Outfit looks clapped. Like they have bare money to get these clothes but don't even know basic colour co-ordination or style

When an individual purchases clothing and footwear simply due to the fact that hip and/or cool gentlemen on the Internet are wearing them, yet those items of clothing do not match in style or colour. The outfit in question looks to be of poor quality.
Like, they have frivolous quantities of currency with which to purchase these items, but are unable to coordinate the resulting outfit.

Wouldn't you have to keep updating it after every minute that has passed though?

Not if you have got a well trained arse and if you finish early simply continue to read the paper until the 10 mins is up.

You missed the point. After just one minute has passed the sign should read nine minutes.

Or what you said the other way around. Or set a stop watch and make it visible through the glass in the front door.

You just put your starting time on the note. It's not rocket surgery is it.
Anyway most people understand that baking a greasy loaf can take longer than anticipated and it's an eta.

I forgot the eating on public transport.
Also, people who walk their dogs during rush hour and stand proudly holding their plastic bag while their tiny dog takes a shit in the middle of a busy sidewalk.

Or better still, put the finishing date on the note.

Re: Things that mildly irritate you
People who drive at 24 MPH on rural main roads, and brake every time they see a bump, or an oncoming car in the distance and even brake going uphill if there is a mildly damp patch of tarmac, or a deadly leaf.
Invariably these people have a whole pile of yelping dogs cavorting the back, to which they are strangely oblivious.
