Is Johnson really going to sack Churchill's grandson?

If he did could you imagine the uproar? His hero would be rolling in his grave. I doubt he's got enough balls to do it; he's all mouth and trousers!
Re: Johnson seeks to prorogue Parliament.
Isn't it ironic that for a few years the Tories have been banging on about Corbyn wanting to expel the moderates and after all that they are the party that have done it.

Kicking out people like Rory Stewart and Sam Gyimah and putting their trust in people like Mogg and Francois. I feel a bit sad and I'm a leftie
Re: Johnson seeks to prorogue Parliament.
Some big names gone. Bebb, Ken Clarke, Greening, Grieve, Phil Hammond, Soames and Stewart among others
A government majority of... -41?

And suddenly there's an emerging backlash against the psychopath Dominic Cummings. It's starting to unravel.
Re: Johnson seeks to prorogue Parliament.
I liked Bebb too - For a Tory!
The Aberconwy MP, who is also quitting at the next election, says a vote against no deal is "truer to Conservative tradition than anyone who traipses through the lobbies out of fear, opportunism or simply unthinking loyalty".

Cummings and Johnson successfully lied their way through the referendum, so you can't really blame them for trying the same thing again.
I have no idea what's going to happen next but it is nice to see their bullying tactics blow up in their faces for now at least.
Re: Johnson seeks to prorogue Parliament.
I wonder how the Mail, Telegraph, Sun etc will spin this

I don't know whether I'd describe them as moderates. Whatever happens it'll almost be worth it to see Anna Soubray and Ken Clarke getting the sack !

Soubry left the Tories months ago
Re: Johnson seeks to prorogue Parliament.
Yes you're quite right. I wish she'd stayed now so she could get the sack

That Heidi Allen is a looker though Phil. I wouldn't mind getting in the sack with her: Boom Boom!
