:hehe: I was not very happy at 4.49pm this afternoon. Finally we scored. It’s hard work supporting Reading and Wales. Half looking forward/dreading tomorrow morning’s game.

 Likewise.
I went to the Autumn international and was bored to tears watching us win. I’d give anything for the same tomorrow!

You will beat Australia handily. Halfpenny will be the difference

 Urgggghhhh.

Why not? His last action was literally converting the impossible to make the over/under over come in. It was one of the best kicks you will ever see.

 He injured since then man?

If Lee halfpenny out - who is the place kicker? Seriously feel this will be a game of attrition rather than free flowing rugby

Owen Watkins on the bench - probably cover for Parkes as he has a broken hand.

Owen Watkin is in the squad to cover for Hadleigh Parkes. Patchell is also on the bench.

He's good - but comon. Halfpenny I'm sure has literally the highest kick conversion percentage in the world. He soooo good - not the best 10 nor 15 - but his place kicking is second to none

Their stats are about the same and you are correct he's not the best 10, mainly because he doesn't play there.

Any game against a SH side is a full on 80min war of attrition. Got to keep matching them.

Been an amazing match so far, can Wales keep this up for 80 mins?

Re: Rugby Word Cup 2019 thread.
Patchell on for Biggar and kicks a penalty 13-8

Re: Rugby Word Cup 2019 thread.
Well he's just smashed his arm into Patchell's neck, what do Wales need to do to get a decision?

Seems to be a grey area.

They are definitely doing what they do with intent but seem to get away with it “he hit his chest first” but he goes in with intent to hurt now surely that’s the actual bloody point?

Exactly. And the earlier one of going in with the shoulder, very clever and will never be a card but it’s being very cute with the rules.

Halfpenny was the best kicker in the world four or five years ago. Not so much now. Bigger is outstanding.

Fantastic first half. I hope Biggar is ok. Pat he’ll has done superbly since he has come on. Not bad for a third choice.

Re: Rugby Word Cup 2019 thread.
Aaron Wainwright has been outstanding, was really worried how he’d be up against Pocock and Hooper.

What ever happens in this World Cup. One thing is certain. We are going to miss Gatland big time. He has along with his back up team, been immense.

At least our academy produce International Rugby Players, that must be a first?

For a team described as one of the best defensive units in the world we don’t half concede some soft tries.
